Tis the Season!!

Okay okay-- HO HO HO Merry Christmas!! I know there are a ton of pictures, but I've just been so involved in the Christmas season!! So starting from the top-- Camilla and I went to her wards Christmas formal at the Wright House. It was catered and M.C 'ed. We ate a really good dinner and then there was a dance. The girls all had dance cards which the boys filled out and there were 5 different dances that the M.C. DJ guy announced and you danced with the guy that signed that #. FUN! her ward is a lot of fun! plus its just fun to get all dolled up! Then I drug Camilla with ME to a Christmas party that Bret and I went to. There was a snow machine and ginger bread house making and food!! That is Matt Shelly and his sis next to us. Next, my wonderful bosses took all his staff to Claim Jumpers for our work party. It was so good! we all had fun as you can see. Those are of most of the girls. we all pitched in and got our bosses gifts. that night they also gave us all a bonus!! RAD!! Then I had to add to my decorating so I had an ingenious idea.........At FHE on mon. the activity I came up with was making snowflakes so they all made a ton of snow flakes that now hang festivly all around my house. now Thats what I call utilizing your calling!! ; ) the last pic is my latest addition: Matillda the hott snow woman. She came from what would have been wasted in a dumpster, I salvaged the shredded paper from work; it looked like snow and I knew I could do something with it!! you gotta do what you gotta do for snow in AZ!! love you all!! Can't wait to see everyone and spend more time caught up in the SEASON!! YEA FOR CHRISTMAS

Missionary Reunion!

I'm finally getting around to posting these pictures from my Missionary Reunion that I went to last month- I drove up there Friday night and Saturday morning- Then came home Sunday night, but it was worth the long drive! It was awesome to see President and Sister Rivas- President Rivas lives in El Salvador, so he's hardly ever in the U.S. It's the first reunion we've ever tried to have and there was a pretty good turnout, about 40 missionaries were there. As you can see, some of them already have babies. yikes that's scary- The last pic is of Elder Hawkins, Elder Jeppsen, and I who us 3 were in the same group- We came home on the plane together 2 and a half years ago! crazy how fast it has gone by. it was great to see all the missionaries and to hear Pres and Sis Rivas speak to us. Hooray for Missionary Reunions!

Don't freak out...

Okay family, as some of you probably already know, Mike, the guy that I am dating, is coming to Eagar for part of Christmas break! I don't want you guys to be weird about it because it really is nothing serious. We've only been dating for a little over a month, but Mom really wants to meet him and 3 weeks is a long time for us to not see each other! Anyways, I promise that I'm not getting married anytime soon and that's not the reason that he's coming, so don't get any ideas! He's really nice guys, so please be nice to him too :o) He'll fly in the 3rd and then just drive back with me the 7th, so hopefully he gets to meet all of you! This picture is of us a few weeks ago at the Nicklecreek concert...

This reminds me of.. the MEDIEVAL TIMES!!

So im finally getting around to telling ya'll about the Madrigal dinner. Our new choir teacher- Mr. Hagerman is so good! He did this dinner every year at the school he used to teach at in Idaho, so everything seemed so organized; he has helped to the music program out soo much- including the band. The cafeteria was decorated really nice- for NHS service hours we made about 75 banners that hung fron the ceiling. Anyway about the dinner It is actually kind of hard to explain...There was all different kinds of entertainment that went along with the medieval theme. Mr. Aldridge was the jester and he narrated everything and talk with an old english voice- ffunny guy. Mr. Ditmore (the chem teacher) was the wizard and since a couple of us are in his chem. 2 class we helped alot with his magic stuff, so that was fun.. We sang all kinds of songs, mostly Christmas ones, but some that just went along with the madrigals. I decorated the pigs head! Cool huh? The first night the sparklers around it made so much smoke the fire alarms went off! haha it was pretty funny. So like I said I cant really explain it, but it was really fun. Mom helped out so much in the kitchen!Saturday she made all the rolls! She is just great! Mr. Hagerman and his wife were so glad to have her there. We are glad to have it over with for this year. I think someone videod part of it so maybe we can watch it when everyone is here! I cant wait to see you all! Love ya much!

I LOVE.........

Christmas LIGHTS!!

I was feeling rather festive and spent Friday afternoon filling my room with Holiday cheer!! I jammed to my favorite christmas tunes. Man, hanging lights is harder than it looks. Its sure a lot of work. I tell you what!!
Then Erin, Camilla, Kristen and I had fun at the mall with all the hustle and bustle of the season. We sampled tons of perfume and pretended like we could afford everything HAA HAA!! let me tell you though.... Dolche and Gabbana sp?? light blue smells A-MAZING!! I promise I do wear differnt clothes : )
I love lights CUZ they are...

Beautiful, twinkly, sparkly, shiny, cozy, fun, festive, bright and cheery warm and inviting........ .

Don't you love lights??

Then after the mall we went to the temple
I love TEMPLE lights even more. This year I actually got to help in a mynute way with the decoration of the temple. Our ward went and helped out one Monday. It was intense stuff. EVERY SINGLE light has a twisty tie i'm not kidding. I appreciate the beauty a lot more! My room should've been cake!

Life.

I don't know if I've told everyone that I was on an ultimate frisbee team. Well I was actually the captain of the team. It was sweet. Our season just ended this last week on Wednesday but overall we went 12-2 on the season and we ended up getting second in the tounament for the second highest division out of all of BYU. There were 11 teams in the highest division, so getting second in the second highest division means we were the 13th best team in all BYU. It was funny how we would play against these teams that had been playin together for like 3 years and here we are just a bunch of freshman that threw together a team last minute and we end up beating them. Some of the games got pretty intense. We beat one team 10-9 in sudden death to get a spot in the championship game. We ended up losing it 9-6 but it was a dang good game. We had lost to the same team earlier 10-3 so we improved a lot. After the game I popped open a bottle of Marinelli's Sparkling cider and sprayed it everywhere like on the movies. I had always wanted to do that. The other pic is of two of my good buddies that just got their mission calls. The one in the pink is goin to Vancouver, Canada and the other one is goin to Bueos Aires Argentina. These are the guys I mainly hang out with so I'm gonna have to make some new friends to hang out with next semester. Anyways, I can't wait to see everyone. I wish Mark and Holly and Kaemon were comin for Thanksgiving but I guess we can't have it all but it will only be less than a month before we get to see them so thats gonna be great. Well I hope everyone is doin great.

Back in business

So we sent our camera in and Olympus honored their warranty and fixed everything free of charge in a timely manner. I'm a fan. So we bought Kaemon a little heater for his room. It's the best toy we're bought for him yet. He just stands up next to it and pushes the buttons and watches the lights change (don't worry, he won't burn himself). How do kids know that buttons are to push? So if you're thinking about what to get him for Christmas, he loves phones and remote controls and extension cords and VCRs. He's had his first cold the past week or so and his nose is pretty raw. In the picture with mom, you can also see his top 2 teeth. Next in line are the ones right next to those. We can see them working themselves through. He's just developing so fast, it's crazy.

Three Cheers for SONIC!

Yay! Welcome little Eagar into the world! We now have our very own Americas Favorite Drive-in! Its pretty much the new coolest hang out, because unlike Circle K, they dont mind if we all just chill there for hours because there is nothin else to do. haha. Its a big one too, double sided. I feel bad for good ol' DQ I think it has put a little damper on their bussiness. I personally feel they are both unique and delicious in their own way! I just thought I'd let you all know so its not too much of a shocker when you come home next week! Yippy I cant wait! Hooray for Thanksgiving! Hooray for Sonic! Hooray for our super cool family!

(I dont know why it put all the pictures on twice.... hmmmm)
