Live'N it up with Aunt Sher!!

This is both of our "good side"! We had to arrange properly. it was really funny. I'm worried about my scars and, well, you know Aunt Sher. : ) Aunt Sherry and I went to church today. I told her I'd go with her every Sunday. She has also quit smoking.yeppers. She got a special blessing from Bret last Sunday. She rewarded herself by getting a new electric toothbrush and whitening kit for her teeth. soo cute~YEAH!! Its so fun to live with her. We are a lot alike --our bed rooms look the same thats for sure!! ha haa! We're good buddies. I love her so much. She's so sweet. I have one more week here with her and its back to roommates and rent. bummer. ; ) I've really enjoyed my time at the house-- its really peaceful and not to mention I lost 5 lbs cuz all aunt sherry eats is carrotts and cocco crispys. J/K. LOVE YOU ALL

ATV Jamboree

Dad and I helping out at the Jamboree. We fed 150 people 4 mornings, then fed over 250 at the steak and chicken fry on Friday. It was fun, but we were tired by the time it was over.

House/Baby Sitting

So Mon-Thurs of this week Holly (and I just a little bit) watched the Zobrist kids, 4 of them ranging in ages from 11 to 2 while their parents went on a little vacation. They have a really nice house, lots of food in their cupboards, a really nice shower and cable TV. So Holly & I played parents of 5 this week. It was pretty fun. So here's a pic of the kids and their bedroom view.

Hi Grandmas

So Kaemon is now officially mobile...he loves climbing on everything. At first (like a week ago) he would pull himself into the standing position and then cry because he was stuck. Now he just plops down on his rear and goes and finds somewhere else to climb up. He particularly loves trash cans, chewing on electrical cords, and licking the toilet seat (see Crosby family home video library for live toilet action). Yesterday he became a "cruiser", which means he can pull himself up on the coffee table and then shuffle down all the way to the other end. All this mischievousness led to dad having to baby-proof all the dangerous cupboards. Baby life is fun. We love it!!

Garrett's new baby- Madison

Becki and I decided that brand new babies are pretty much awesome. Garrett's new baby Madison is definitely not camera shy (we took like 30 pictures). Kara is doing good. she was resting when we went to visit. Aunt Sherry is so proud of course. oh and she's trying to quit smoking so everyone pray for her. Oh so here's details of the birth. she was born on the 16th and weighs 6 lbs 8 ounces. Hooray for babies!!.......and cheese cake..mmmmmm.......

Well here are some pics of me at football games. I went to both games so far and they were great fun. some guys in my hall and I painted our faces and had a great time. I put the pic of me and some girls at the game on here so nobody would think i was a loser or anything. Im looking forward to the BYU vs TCU game in 2 weeks. SHould be a good one. Well an update on college life - its pretty hard and getting harder. I go to the math lab for at least 3 hours almost every day and i have a Math exam this friday so that wont make anything easier. Then i always have reading and homework in other classes. its fun though. I get out of class early in the afternoon so my nights are normally pretty free. yesturday i went to Kari's for sunday dinner and that was fun. Kari is actually a pretty dang good cook. On saturday i went to Salt lake with a girl i met and we went to a drive-in movie. That was fun. the guy that drove there was from Snowflake and i had played soccer aginst him for 2 years in hs. Nice to meet someone from the white mountains up here. well I gotta go do some more work but Ill try to post updates more often.

Where are my tires?!

Hey family! Well today was an eventful day! So everything was going good, just anormal day, untill 4th hour. I walked out of semenary and started walking to my car to go home, but when I got to my car, I noticed somthing wasnt quite right. The little corolla was up on blocks and all my tires were gone! There was a note left on the wiind shield that had a little clue for me to go to Beckers, anyways to make a long story short, I ended up going all around town looking clues to where my other tires were hidden! Finally the last clue was to the road to know where and there were flowers and all my lubnuts and a note that said "Will you come to Homecoming with me?" It was real cute, I got asked by Daniel Chavez, I bet only Kari and Reed know who he is tho, but im real happy. So Jayde and I went and put my tires back on, I was quite proud we did it by ourselves! Anyways I just thought i would share that lil' story with y'all. I love you all and hope everything is going super-terrific!

New Calling!!

Well everyone, I just got a new calling in my ward that I am way excited about! I got called as the first counselor in the Relief Society! It's a little scary and intimidating because there are a lot of older girls/ returned missionaries in the ward and here I am, 20 years old, and I am their "leader"! All well, I guess age really doesn't matter that much when you're in college! I've never been in the presidency so it will be a new, learning experiece for me! I am over education so I will be working with all the teachers and will even teach sometimes! It will be great! I felt sick to my stomach when I first got the calling because I didn't feel adequate, but now I am excited and feel much more confident. I've been really praying for service and teaching experiences so I feel like this is an answer to my prayers! It will be great to get to know all the girls and to serve them! Hopefully I'll be able to make a difference in someone's life! If you guys have any advice, feel free to share it with me! Also, keep me in your prayers! Thanks! Love you all!

Labor Day BBQ

Well on Monday we had an Elders' quorum barbeque at our place and had a good turnout. We grilled burgers, lots of sides and I made homemade pina colada ice cream that was a big hit. We've got some great friends from the ward and school.

Bret has a girly side...

Hi Bret's Fam, I just thought you guys would like to know the truth about Bret... He is a softy!!! He washed my dishes the other day and he wanted to watch a chick flick last night... and now I think he is considering motherhood (see picture w/ kitty) Don't worry guys, I took him to an ASU game (see second picture) and set him straight again. He just needed a little ruff-n-tuff football. Just to be safe I am going to hide my Dixie Chick and Mandy Moore cd's in case he cracks again. I am also coming to the lake this weekend to keep an eye on him so I will see some of you there. Hope every one is doing good. Becki

I love Football season!

It was soo nice to get out of the wreched valley for a day. The weather was "INCREDIBLE"(N.D. himself) : ) These are my old fun roomies, Kristin(blonde) and Camilla. we had a bad camera man!! We watched one of Kristins friends play against NAU in the sky dome. It was a sad game. the team we went to watch, Adam state, got slaughtered 52-12. but we sat in front of some funny people in the NAU section. they bought us pretzels cuz we got to teasing with them. I love F-ball season!! don't you guys. YEAH!

WHAT THE JUNK!**??!
