Lost World Caverns

The Day after Thanksgiving we went to some cool caves...it was a little chilly so we bundled up Kaemon good and even got him to keep his beanie on.

Kaemon loved all the food everyone shoved in his mouth, especially rolls.

Life.

I don't know if I've told everyone that I was on an ultimate frisbee team. Well I was actually the captain of the team. It was sweet. Our season just ended this last week on Wednesday but overall we went 12-2 on the season and we ended up getting second in the tounament for the second highest division out of all of BYU. There were 11 teams in the highest division, so getting second in the second highest division means we were the 13th best team in all BYU. It was funny how we would play against these teams that had been playin together for like 3 years and here we are just a bunch of freshman that threw together a team last minute and we end up beating them. Some of the games got pretty intense. We beat one team 10-9 in sudden death to get a spot in the championship game. We ended up losing it 9-6 but it was a dang good game. We had lost to the same team earlier 10-3 so we improved a lot. After the game I popped open a bottle of Marinelli's Sparkling cider and sprayed it everywhere like on the movies. I had always wanted to do that. The other pic is of two of my good buddies that just got their mission calls. The one in the pink is goin to Vancouver, Canada and the other one is goin to Bueos Aires Argentina. These are the guys I mainly hang out with so I'm gonna have to make some new friends to hang out with next semester. Anyways, I can't wait to see everyone. I wish Mark and Holly and Kaemon were comin for Thanksgiving but I guess we can't have it all but it will only be less than a month before we get to see them so thats gonna be great. Well I hope everyone is doin great.

Back in business

So we sent our camera in and Olympus honored their warranty and fixed everything free of charge in a timely manner. I'm a fan. So we bought Kaemon a little heater for his room. It's the best toy we're bought for him yet. He just stands up next to it and pushes the buttons and watches the lights change (don't worry, he won't burn himself). How do kids know that buttons are to push? So if you're thinking about what to get him for Christmas, he loves phones and remote controls and extension cords and VCRs. He's had his first cold the past week or so and his nose is pretty raw. In the picture with mom, you can also see his top 2 teeth. Next in line are the ones right next to those. We can see them working themselves through. He's just developing so fast, it's crazy.

Three Cheers for SONIC!

Yay! Welcome little Eagar into the world! We now have our very own Americas Favorite Drive-in! Its pretty much the new coolest hang out, because unlike Circle K, they dont mind if we all just chill there for hours because there is nothin else to do. haha. Its a big one too, double sided. I feel bad for good ol' DQ I think it has put a little damper on their bussiness. I personally feel they are both unique and delicious in their own way! I just thought I'd let you all know so its not too much of a shocker when you come home next week! Yippy I cant wait! Hooray for Thanksgiving! Hooray for Sonic! Hooray for our super cool family!

(I dont know why it put all the pictures on twice.... hmmmm)

Who are I? I'm...

the incredible hulk. (and I'm not crying, I'm scowling) . Sorry for the delay in posting this. As for the voting, I think for the sake of not getting too competitive we just all pat ourselves on our backs and admire our own creativeness. Are we drawing names this year??

Leaves are EVERYWHERE!

You may be thinking to yourself what I could have done to someone to make them want to fill me car with leaves! Well all I did was ask Trever Nicoll to Sadies- I didnt know this was the response I would get! I asked him by getting a box filled with candy and a ugly florecent orange polyester button-up shirt(womens shirt), and those snake skin shoes over to his house with a note that said "Hey wild thing! I would love to take you to sadies- to find out who I am you have to wear these clothes to school tomorrow!" So Trever wore them to school so I had a bag of flour waiting for him in the office with a note that said somthing like - "Like many great recipies, the recipie for a great Sadies date calls for flour- look through the flour to find my name!" but there wasnt anything in the flour so an hour or so later he was called to the office again and there was a lil' bouquet of real flowers with a note that said "whoops wrong flower!" with me name. So a couple weeks later I go out to my car to go home and I look in the windows and see my car COMPLETY full of leaves! I was actually kinda upset! I opened the doors and started kicking the leaves kinda furiously and there was a note that said "I cant BE-LEAVE you asked me- but YES!"
So I called mom and told her about it and how I didnt even think it was funny, and Trever and Ryne come out from behind the wall just laughing so hard because they had been spying on me the whole time! haha It took a while to clean out, but i guess it was kinda funny now! Well I just thought I'd share that with ya'll! Love ya much!

A FALL TIME FEELING

Summers sting is fading out of sight
Exhausted, we greet this departure,
Well prepared for a crisp, cool kind of light.

Fall time is now looming in the air
A feeling so hard to describe,
Yet so easy to share.

The trees once green are turning to show
Many colors of warmth
Which confer a sense of a robust glow.

Little children play rambunctiously outside,
Chilled, embrace the warmth of a fire.
Trailing behind, the scent of cold air is hard to hide.

Many ripe apples fall to the ground
In hopes to join the festivities.
With caramel and nuts they’d like to be crowned.

Halloween costumes are playfully displayed
Spookey, cookey, wonderous and weird
Each one unique and better if home-made.

Expressions of many thanks add to this feeling
Grandiose meals are extravagantly prepared
Turkey and dressing could be stacked to the ceiling.

The hearts of families are connected once more
Friendships rekindled and memories recalled
Smiles and hugs warm us each to the core.

Fall time is now looming in the air
A feeling so hard to describe
Yet so easy to share
Happy Fall
Love, lisa

Wow, what a creative family!

So, I've been impressed. Holly and Kaemon dressed up too. Someone else took their pictures so once we get those we'll post them and then we can just all send our votes to mom to determine the winner.

Our haunted houses-

Aren't our Halloween haunted houses cool! ya, Becki and I love Halloween cuz we get to go to corn mazes and carve sweet pumpkins and decorate little haunted houses and dress up like the Devil and his fallen angel! It was a fun time-

Match made in HELL...

So we waited to put our pictures last cuz they are the best... ya I'll say it... Our costumes ruled (the underworld at least) I had so much fun this Halloween dressing up like Old Scratch and acting like him... just for that night though- Becki did an awesome job on my makeup...yes I wore makeup, but I had to go to extremes to win the contest. So Friday night we went to Becki's parent's house for a huge Halloween party. It was so cool- they put a lot of work into decorating the house with hundreds of candles and spiderwebs and black lights and mirrors and all sorts of Halloween stuff- They made food that looked like gross stuff, like brain shrimp dip, heart jello, a poo poo platter, kitty litter cake, witch finger cookies, and a worm bath punch. Her bros and sisters and Mom and Dad all dressed up and it was way fun. Monday night we dressed up again and went to a big YSA party- we were the hottest and most evil couple there!!! HH!!!!

Welcome to Hogwarts!

Hey Family. I know what your thinking- that must be the real Harry Potter but its not! Its me- Tami your sister! If any of you havent read the books I would suggest you do. I had a pretty fun Halloween, we put on a Halloween carnival for show choir. We had all kinds of games like the fish pond, sucker pull, darts, cake walk and a haunted house. So many people came, we ran out of food and prizes! We ended up making about 1400$ to go twards tour so that helps a lot. There was a little boy and his mom dressed up like Ron and Hermione and I wanted to take a picture with them but I didnt have a camara! I may not of had the greatest costume, but I think I deserve an E for effort! Love ya all!

Superman Chad!!

Chad was so cute in his superman shirt and cape. His cape was his macey's apron!

Halloween 2005!!

Okay- I'm sure I deserve last place this year... My roommates and I had this great idea and were going to be teenage mutant ninja turtles, which was going to be sweeeeet, but it just didn't work, which is lucky for all you guys! Saturday night we went to a party at a friends big, old, creepy house so we dressed up last minute just from things we had in our house. Lexie and I were dead nurses, if you can't tell, and Amy is the vampire that killed us! I must say, we looked pretty creepy- I was kinda scaring myself! Monday we had a ward party that started at 7:30 and I didn't get home from class until 7ish and Amy and our other friend had to take exams, so the ninja turtles could not go with only 2 of the 4. Lexie and I had to get creative once again. We were standing up on our balcony looking down at all the people in the parking lot at the ward party. All the girls were in there cute little costumes, without coats of course because they wanted to be cute. Lex and I were commenting on how cold they looked, and that's where we got our idea! We were cold for our costume! we went around shivering and shaking all night with our layers of clothes and blue lips, frost bitten nose, and rosy cheeks and kept saying "it's so cooooolllllddd! it wasn't that great and was obviously spur-of-the-moment, but everyone thought it was funny!!

Halloween Tragedy...A sweet family of cold cereal is brutally...

killed. They were brought home in a value pack from the happiest place on Earth, WalMart, by a seemingly kind and smily customer, only to each suffer excruciating deaths. We now go to the questioning of this ferocious villian. These are his own words...So first I ripped them open and then dropped their poor little innocent insides from a tall height into a bowl far below. Those that survived the fall, I then drowned with milk and before the remains could get soggy I ate them with my big white incisors. (From right to left) I burned Jack with a candle lighter. Smack's corpse I filled with firecrackers and bottle rockets and then blew it to smitherines. To Tucan Sam I ran over with my minivan and then stomped violently into the gravel. To his brother I hung from a tree with a rope and a noose. Jack's twin I put in a sellar and fed him nothing but chocolate; the next day's headlines in the Lewisburg Daily read "Jack's twin: Death by Chocolate." Tony wasn't feeling so Greeeeat! when I stuck a skewer through his eye and it came out his Daily Recommended Allowance label. They say to keep plastic away from children. Well, I found out that goes for tigers too, they don't do well without air. Snap, Crackle and Pop were done singing their tune when they were impaled by not one, but two dull, red plastic knifes. So you might ask, who committed these savage offenses...none else but the famed CEREAL KILLER!! (click on pic for a close up of the murder scene)
