Late Mothers Day Post

Since no one has posted in awhile, I thought I'd put up a few pictures of my Mother's Day. We spent the weekend at Roosevelt, getting there on Thursday. We relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Lisa and Barry came Sat. evening and we went out fishing. It was really nice of them to come to spend Mother's Day weekend with us!
Barry showing his first catch of the evening! Dad caught one of those too!

Fishing was REALLY SLOW for the first few hours! Lisa & I just visited and relaxed on the boat and enjoyed the evening!
Later, much later that night, the boys caught about 6 crappie.
(Two were so small we should've thrown them back!) We got off the lake around 11:30pm!
On Mother's Day, we all went to church out at Tonto Basin. They gave us potted, flowering plants, really nice!
Then when I got home late Sunday, there was a box that had arrived on Thursday from Bret. I opened it and there were all these roses, still looking beautiful! There was also a funny card from Mark and I was loving all this. I didn't cry until I went upstairs and there on my bed was a note from Chad. He said, "I got you a DVD, I hope you love it! Happy Mother's Day." (It was 'While You Were Sleeping') Later I found out that Kari had given me a gift card on Amazon! I got phone calls from all my children and that means everything to me, just my kids telling me they love me! Thank you all for being so good to me!!

Another project! Tami & I both ordered cheese! It came in 40 pound blocks so we had to grate it all and put it in smaller size bags. It was a lot of work, but its so good! Together we did
over 87 pounds of cheese!!

My little $5 grater that we bought at a swap meet
in Santa Fe got a work out!
