Although my boys are all grown, it seems I'm back in Cub Scouting! I'm the Counselor in Primary over the scouts and I'm having a ball! I LOVE cub scouts!
I used a 'Pinterest' idea for my invitation!

I also got this cute idea for Twinkie Cars from Pinterest and...
... these healthy fruit cars!
We had "Spare Tires" to eat- chocolate covered mini donuts and
"Safety Cones"- nacho cheese bugles! We drank "Anti-freeze"- which was just green power-ade! It was all so cute!
I also had to make all the trophies and awards. Again, thank goodness for other peoples' clever ideas! Since I only had a week, I couldn't order any trophies, so I made these. I thought they were pretty awesome! Then I printed a bunch of different certificates that said things like, "the Destroyer", "Best Imagination", etc.
We had 10 little boys participate! One of the boys, Kelton Walker won the fastest in the whole district!!
The boys had so much fun! They would align their cars on the track just perfect, then run down to the other end to watch. Each boy got to race his car against all the other boys!
