Feb. 26th---# 19 grandbaby born!!

Monday, Feb. 26th, our #19 grand baby was born. We are so very grateful for this sweet, wonderful young woman, Ashley, to love this baby enough to give him to a good home where he will be loved and adored. This is truly a huge sacrifice and act of love on her part. We love her and she has become a part of our family already. We will all be forever amazed and thankful for her being the birth mom for Lisa's baby!

So here he is- all 6lbs 2oz. and 18.5 inches of him!
Born at 11:41am.  He is perfect!

Lisa was able to go right into the delivery room and be part of the big event.

Barry probably thinking that he finally got his little boy!

Uncle Bret was their first visitor at the hospital.

He has a head full of dark hair, so adorable!

Lilly, Lucy and I made the trip down to see new baby boy too. We got to go in their brand new Honda Odessy mini van--soo nice!

Lucy Grace, 3 months old is now the middle child!!

Lilly is going to be such a great big sister and helper!

The Keime family!!

Taking baby home!!  Such a little peanut!

Home at last and getting some good snuggles in! He is so precious!

Its a blessing that Lucy is such a sweet, happy, good natured baby! Lisa is going to be super busy with 2 babies.

Uncle Bret doing tricks with Lucy.

Lilly already playing with baby brother!

Ok. This will be the  final picture!  He's just so cute, I can't help it!!
So you may have noticed that he doesn't have a name yet, they are still deciding!  Gma with #19!!

Some events of February.

On Feb. 19, our little lady London had her ninth birthday. Her parents did a great job celebrating it. The day started off with great designer colored pancakes.

She's got a talented mama!!

Later that night her dad took her to Ballet AZ to see Cinderella!

Of course, cake later too! They did some other fun things with the whole family too.

Feb. 20th was Colter's birthday!  He's 5! and he's super cute!!
His mom made him a super fun cake!!

And he got to go swimming at Provo Rec Center with Blake and Adlee!!

Feb. 22 was our Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet. I'm the Primary Counselor over scouting, so I was kind of in charge, or I put myself in charge somehow! We planned a LEGO themed party and it was super fun! I made these cute invitations for all our scouts.

These were fun to make for the party. We had a waffle bar (they look like LEGO's right?), fresh fruit and egg casseroles.

I wrapped 30 boxes to make them look like lego bricks. I was also over the games. I made a lego bean bag game, a piƱata and several others. We had over 100 people come. I would say it was a success!

We've had some wind this week. Our light in the backyard blew over, mostly due to the wood rotting on the deck.

But I woke up to snow this morning!

Bret ran a 1/2 marathon race today! Its his 3rd race, 2 more to go to get a special medal! This one was painful, trouble with some muscles hurting him--but he finished!! Good job Bret!

LaVerl has been in Mexico with his brothers all week. They caught some fish and had some good brother bonding!

LOTS of Work & Play....HARD!!!

Its been a busy weekend!! We've had a water leak at our place in Roosevelt! When LaVerl turned off the main water meter, the meter was still running which would mean--another high water bill! So Tonto Basin Water Co. had to come put in a new meter.
He worked hard all weekend, fixing water leaks, cutting and burning lots of over growth of trees, painting fences and general cleaning! We haven't spent much time there in the last few years!
I left him there and went to Queen Creek. Lisa & I painted two bedrooms on Friday. Getting ready for babies!

Mark & family arrived late Friday. Saturday we all headed out to Fort McDowell for the big Spartan event. I went to help watch kids. Mark's oldest 4 and Bret's oldest 3 all participated in events. They set up a course over hills and have obstacles like mud holes, tires, walls, etc they have to go through. Its an endurance test of strength and stamina.

The younger kids did a one mile course. Their Dad's ran with them.

Carrying Daxxon around all day was a strength test for both Mark and Holly. He's a chunk!!

I think its so good for kids to learn that they can do hard things!
Their shirts said, "Finisher. Earned not given."

They all got really nice shirts and super cool medals!

Mark & Bret did a 10 mile obstacle course. It was tough! It took them over two hours!!
A 'before' picture when they were still nice a clean!
The starting line-up for the 12 o'clock run. Lots of people come to these events- its amazing!

Kingston (looking very determined!) and Kaemon getting ready for their 2 miler.

Mark's & Bret's race ended here in the arena where the people in the stands could watch some of the events. This was after they'd already ran 10 miles through lots of other strength tests.

This is Bret, he's pretty wiped out at this point! I missed Mark, he came in earlier when we were at the kids' run.
These bars were tough, very few made it across to ring the bell.
Mark was one of the few!!
Here they had to pull a heavy (200 lb)? sand bag up about 20 feet.

Kaemon came in first in this division!  Good job!

Milea lost one of her shoes in the second mud bog!

What a day! Everyone was exhausted but feeling good about what they had accomplished!!  They all headed home and I headed to Roosevelt to pick up LaVerl.
