Final 2018 Blog Post!!

As we count down the last few hours of 2018 I wanted to get in a few more pictures. Lisa, Barry and 3 kids came home on Saturday and Tami, Ryne and 3 kids arrived on Sunday! Bret & his 4 kids left late Sunday night, so he got to spend a little time with everyone.
We always finish up December with Chad & Bret's birthdays!
We went to Snowflake and took Chad and Luann out to lunch. He was a good sport when they smeared whipped cream on his face!

We are enjoying seeing most of our grandkids over the holidays!

Barry had to stay outside with Lilly long after the other kids came in! She LOVED the snow!

So that about sums up our Holidays! Its been super fun having all our kids except Marks family come spend time with us! Being with family is what makes everything more special!

SNOW!! Making the Christmas Holidays perfect!!

We have been so blessed with lots of snow for the Christmas Holidays this year.  I can't remember when we've had this much snow!  We have been building snowmen, making forts and sledding behind the 4-wheeler!

I think we got at least 6 inches of snow and more the next day!!

 

MORE Christmas Activities

Christmas Time means seeing the star on Flattop lit up every night of December, it means watching the Nativity, it means family coming home for the holidays, playing together, helping Gpa, and eating lots of goodies!!

December 23rd - Sunday- We had a beautiful 1 hour church meeting. We made crafts with the kids. I invited J'net & Bryan and Trent and our friends the Penrod's to come over for dinner.

 

For my birthday Kari made me my favorite cake,

                ALMOST TOO MUCH CHOCOLATE CAKE!

 

Monday, DEC. 24th, Christmas Eve Day, we had reindeer pancakes and our annual Christmas Cane hunt!

We were missing a few characters, but Bret's kids were awesome.

Kingston- Joseph, London- Mary, Dempsey-all 3 Wisemen,

Then they each got to open their gifts from each other.

CHRISTMAS MORNING!!

 SANTA CAME AND FILLED THEIR STOCKINGS!

The kids were very generous to us!

 They got us a Nixplay. They can send pictures from their phones to this picture display screen!  Its amazing. We can see our grandkids everyday!!

It was so fun having Bret & his kids home for Christmas!

The girls got lots of "LOL" dolls, a very popular item this year! 

Kingston loved his "Harry Potter" lego set.

I know that we are very spoiled and blessed to have so much. Christmas is about being with family, enjoying family traditions and watching happy smiling faces light up with joy when they get what they've wished for.
