We were lucky enough to have some of our kids come a spend a little time with us before Christmas. We did a lot of fun things together. I'm going to put them all in one big blog!

Tami & family come from St. George.  Ryne's parents had
Covid, so they got to stay with us!
      DEC 19th
Lisa and her 3 kids arrive!
LaVerl took Ryne, Blake and Colter ice fishing! The ice on Big Lake was about a foot deep!
It was pretty COLD but they did catch 2 fish~
Colter spent a lot of time in the truck trying to keep warm~
DEC 20th
Sunday morning we made Reindeer pancakes!

                                                          DEC 21st
The kids decide to go to the River Walk Trail with the little ones.
Later the girls had a little dance party!
Landon went missing for awhile and Lisa found him inside Gpa's old 48 Dodge in the garage. He couldn't get the doors opened!
Adlee and Lilly played so good together and managed to find a little snow at our house!
The grand kids are always wanting to earn quarters for the gumball machine, so they like to do chores.
DEC 21st
Kari and her 4 boys arrive!
Eating traditional "snowman pizzas"!

Right after dinner we all went to the "Live Nativity" at the Davis'.
It was also the night of the "Christmas Star".  "For the first time in 800 years humans can witness when Jupiter and Saturn line up relatively close together from Earth's vantage point since March 4, 1226."

DEC. 22nd
Our traditional 'candy cane hunt'.

DEC 23rd.  MY BIRTHDAY!!
My girls and my grand kids help clean the house!

Lucy just loves her older cousins!

Bret sent me a beautiful flower arrangement!

My girls made me my favorite
                            "Almost Too Much Chocolate Cake"
It was pretty special having my grand kids gathered all around me singing "Happy Birthday"! Landon even helped me blow out my candles!
Later that evening we drank some hot tea and my girls gave me a wonderful foot massage!  I had a great day!!

Elijah gets BAPTIZED!

On Saturday, November 28, we attended Elijah Luke Kinsey's baptism. It was pretty low key because of Covid-19. Kari's family, me and Grandpa and Bret's family came- they were in Flagstaff already to spend Thanksgiving with Suzy's family. Only 20 max people could attend and everyone wore masks.  It was still a really special day and we were so glad we could go and be there with them!

I get asked a lot to give the talk of the Holy Ghost because I give a whole basket of goodies and different things.

THANKSGIVING 2020

This year we celebrated Thanksgiving in Queen Creek with Lisa's family. Our plans kept changing because Tami got Covid-19 and was sick and couldn't come with her family. We were all sad about that! Then my folks had decided not to come because they were afraid of being exposed to Covid, but they decided to chance it and come anyway and Kari's family also came. So there wasn't very many of us, the rest of the kids had other plans, but we all had a wonderful time together! Here's some random pictures!

Lisa made a delicious appetizer!

The food was all yummy and we were hungry!

The kids had fun making these cute turkey hats.

Mom and Dad were the hit of the party. They were so much fun to visit with and we loved hearing them tell about their past memories.

We had pumpkin pie, Kari's french silk, chocolate, pecan and Lisa's yummy and beautiful key lime pie!

Little Gabe loved all the pie too!
                                       Oh boy! funny face!
Landon and his chocolate pie. He ate more whipping cream than pie!

Cute Lilly and her muffins! About 5 o'clock Lilly says, "Mom, I don't think I ate any dinner, I'm hungry!"
It was a rough day of eating and visiting and we all enjoyed every minute of it, but it wears you out!
I am so THANKFUL for my many blessings!
