Me, who never gets sick ended up in the hopsital for 6 days due to complications with the covid-19 virus!! I was never worried about getting it because I figured it wouldn't do much! Well, I got that one wrong. I was one sick little momma! I got so weak, I couldn't eat, I was hardly breathing, my oxygen levels, my magnesium and potassium levels were all out of whack, so finally after about a week of watching me not get better, LaVerl took me into the ER last Sunday June 13th. I had been sick for about 2 weeks before that, just slowly getting worse. I was pretty miserable and was wanting to get better, so the hospital was a great place to be. They took great care of me. I was the only covid patient in there. I will post some lovely pictures of my stay there for 6 days. Its not a pretty sight!!
This machine pumped a lot of oxygen into me lungs for 6 days.
Here I am looking like death!!
This was in my room for getting all the bad air out? Kind of weird, not sure exactly what it does!!
On my second day in the hospital I received a whole bunch of beautiful flowers from my children. They sent me 7 bouquets of assorted varieties, and then a huge vase of 22 roses, one from each of my grandkids! They cheered me up and my room immensely and all the nurses commented that they'd never seen so many flowers sent to one person! I am loved!

My sweet Lisa decided to come and help her dad while I was in the hospital. So thoughtful of her to drive 4 hours, hauling all her kids to come help! On day 3 they told me I could have visitors, so Lisa came and spent an hour or so with me. It was great having someone to visit with!
Oxygen flowing into my nose is my new best friend. On Friday, LaVerl came to see me too. I think he missed me!
So now I'm home, just lazying around, taking it easy! I feel so much better, but I will rest and recover for another week before I venture out. I do have to go to the Dr. for a follow-up appointment on Friday, so that will be when I can do some grocery shopping maybe. Its great to feel good!!! I will be more appreciative of my good health from now on!!
