April started off with Tami's birthday on the 4th. How can my baby be 33?? I didn't do much for her. I made her a yummy salad and her favorite Oreo dessert. Later in the week we went to lunch together at a new, fun, vintage place in Eagar called 'Bluebird Cafe'.
I took Adlee to the store to help me buy things her Mommy would like. It was so cute and funny to see the different things she put into my cart. She got socks, a hand held mirror, tiny colored hair rubber bands, cotton candy in a bag and a bunch of other things I can't remember! (I think some were things she liked!)
LaVerl went fishing up to Big Lake and caught 6 really big trout from the shore!
EASTER!
How wonderful it is that this is a day of celebration throughout the Christian world. Of all the events of human history none is so significant as the resurrection of the Son of God.

Adlee took this picture! So funny!
Sometimes I take her to 'story time' at the library and they get to make a craft.
While Tami's kids were coloring eggs, Blake comes up with
"An egg self portrait". (He only wears his hair like this when he's home and he wants it out of his eyes!)
Chad and Luann came over and spent Easter day with us.
Chad and Charlie helped with the Easter egg hunt for the kids.
I had to include some pictures Lisa sent of her kiddos all dressed cute for Easter.
And also her wonderful Easter message she texted to all her family. She said this--
"I hope everyone enjoyed celebrating Easter wherever you were! I missed you all a lot this year. The day felt a little lonely without family around. Even Lilly was wondering why we were celebrating by ourselves. I guess it's because I love Easter so much and just want to share that with those I love. It means so much to me. The Atonement and Resurrection are everything. My life would have no true or eternal meaning with out these all encompassing and eternal events. I'm so grateful for these profound truths. May we all live each day with a remembrance of our Savior's victory over sin, every infirmity, and death and be a little better. Love you all."
APRIL is also Reed's Birthday on the 19th!
