We had made plans to go to Tucson with Sonja and Randy and Randell and Nancy Penrod on May 1st & 2nd. However, Garrett got put in jail, so Sonja had to cancel so she could go stay with Mom. Then LaVerl had been sick a couple of days with the 'gunk', coughing, blowing his nose, but he thought he was getting better. However, he then gave it to me, so we were both pretty miserable on this trip. We still had fun, the Gaslight is always a hoot! It was the first time for the Penrod's and they liked it. We saw, 'Beach Blanket Bee-Bop'. We ate at Texas Roadhouse, then went to the temple Friday morning and from there, headed to Mesa, instead of home. Nancy had a baby shower to go to on Sat. morning. We stayed in a motel, we didn't want to get J'net and Bryan sick. We are so lucky to have such great friends!
