Here it is---September!

Where did the rest of August go?? I missed posting about a few August events!!

There were a few more August birthdays besides Lisa's and Adlee's. Tami's Blake turned big #16!!  Yes, he's driving!

Then on August 29th, Lisa's Lilly turned #11! I got a lot more pictures of Lilly!!  She sure had a fun birthday! First she got taken out of school to go to lunch with her mom and dad and baby Lawson! Lisa took her to get her nails done, she got an Apple Watch that she can call her Gma from! She got to go get sherbet and she got an e-bike scooter!  WOW!

If you know what the new 'lingo' is, you're smarter than me!!

I just asked Lisa what it means:

"This totally awesome person is 11 for sure!"

Mark's been taking his boat out a lot on Roosevelt Lake. He took Kari's family out in July for Rivers #16 birthday, along with all Rivers friends and he took his boys with their friends and boy cousins. He recently took his girls with their girl cousins. They had some excitement. Mark decided to do a back flip off the boat! He hit something and gashed his head really good. He was bleeding like crazy and nothing to fix it with. For being a doctor, he wasn't very prepared!! He had to improvise to somehow get it to stop bleeding so much and not have to drive the 30 minutes to an ER for stitches! He came up the idea to use his hair to pull it together. The girls twisted a few strands together from each side, then tried to tie them to each other. His hair was too short to make that work. The dilemma? How to get them to stay together? The answer- chewing gum of course! All the girls donated their chewed gum and stuck it on his head to hold the gash together.  It worked! He put his hat on and they played on the lake the rest of the day. Once back to Mesa, he went to the clinic/ER where he works and they put 9 staples in, after working to get all the gum out of his hair first!!

Randy has been over trying to get my new sprinkler system ready for winter, so I can blow out the water lines so they don't freeze! It has been raining and they had to work in the mud!! He brought his helper, Jason over to do the heavy lifting!

This was the original, how the sprinkler guys did it. However, we had no way of turning off just the water to the sprinklers. They had to dig up half my lawn to find the water line coming in and put a shut off valve in.

Before....
After....
It was so much work, they worked from morning until almost 5pm. I sure appreciate my sweet brother-in-law!!!

The last thing that has happened is me hitting a stupid turkey! I was coming home from Mesa, about 5 miles outside of Show Low, when a turkey hen decides to come out on the road. I slowed to about 60mph, but that wasn't enough! I hit it and it did so much damage to the front of my car. I had to get a new grill, have the dent in my hood popped out and then the guy who fixed it told me that my condenser to my A/C is also bent in, but it doesn't seem to be leaking! $800 later! STUPID TURKEY!

I think I'm all caught up for now!!  It's been a busy month!

Time in Idaho......

Tami invited me to come to Idaho for Adlee's #9 birthday, so I came! I got to see her new, very cute apartment and spend time with the kids. They are growing up fast. Blake was at a BYU youth leadership camp with his cousin, Rivers until Saturday when Tami picked him up in Provo. She drove 4 hours, picked him up at 8am, drove back and was home by 1pm. Plenty of time to get ready for Adlee's party.

Friday Aug.7th Her favorite breakfast! Crepes!

All dressed and ready to go to her gymnastics class!

She wanted to take treats to all her friends at class!

One of her birthday gifts

Tami has a dear friend, Chelsea, that brings her fresh flowers!

Fun at the Mall shopping and then we ate at Adlee's favorite restaurant- Texas Roadhouse! She loves the hot rolls and honey butter!

Colter made the pretzel bites himself for the party.
The girls swam, painted hair brushes, played games, danced, listened to music and ate! Fun Party!

The time has flown by and I leave in the morning. I've had a wonderful time here in Idaho with my baby girl and her kiddos.

A happy and exciting weekend!

Saturday, August 1st was a very special day.

My day started by leaving for Mesa early, 5:45am, because I was dropping off my old 1975 Atlantis EM Pinball machine to finally get it fixed after being out of commission for over 20 years!! I found a guy clear out in Glendale, AZ that works on these really old machines. I hope he can fix it because he is charging me $500 to work on it!! I had to get my neighbor to take it apart and get it loaded into my SUV.

Later that evening, lots of family and friends gathered at the Gilbert Temple to be there for Kingston as he received his endowment.  He is such a sweet, good boy! He leaves on his mission in Sept.

Lots of people were there, but only a few of us stuck around for pictures and then a late dinner at Cafe Rio.

Then on Sunday morning, Lisa and Barry blessed their little miracle baby, Lawson LaVerl Keime. He is such a good baby, hardly ever cries, however, he screamed the entire time Barry was trying to give him a blessing. Poor guy, he could hardly think.

After church, Lisa had everyone over for a wonderful luncheon of 'tacos' with 3 kinds of meats- sweet pork, shredded chicken and their good neighbor, Sterling Parker smoked a brisket. Then she had every kind of topping you could want! Bret and Mark both made their really yummy dips with chips;, which were also a hit. But the biggest 'hit' of all was the soft serve ice cream! They borrowed their neighbors machine and Lisa made pineapple dole whip, from a mix and also a vanilla custard.

Lots of Barry's family came too, along with all of us Crosby's.

Barry's older brother, Trent

It was a great day visiting with family and friends! Lawson is definitely a little 'Miracle Baby'!

Then on Monday, August 3rd, it was Lisa's #43 birthday!!
Barry got her a new iPhone 17pro and a nugget ice maker! The kids got her candy that she likes.

She went to breakfast with her friends after going to her work out class, and then lunch with Barry. I was able to watch baby so she could enjoy her day.

On Tuesday, I went to the temple and then met up with J'net and Paula for lunch and a movie. We saw the Angel production of "Young Washington". Really a great movie. Fun Day. Wednesday, met up again for temple and lunch, Bryan came too.

Thursday I flew out super early to Idaho Falls to spend time with Tami's family and for Adlee's #9 birthday!!
