Kind of last minute, LaVerl & I decided to go to Provo, for several reasons. #1- see our grandkids and Tami & Ryne
#2- help them put in a grow box
#3- see Aunt Nan and family
#4- go to the first BYU scrimmage game
#5- attend a session in the new Provo City Center Temple
#6- pick up a new freeze-dryer from Harvest Right
(but didn't have to)
We arrived in Provo on Thursday, just in time for dinner!
We got up early Friday morning and went to the 8am session and saw several people we knew from Eagar and also Bro & Sis Wheeler that we work with at the Snowflake temple.
Coloring Easter eggs with Blake and Colter
Gma & Gpa brought Easter baskets
Tami always makes us such exciting and new food to eat!
Steak tacos with a reduction of balsamic vinegar, blue cheese and cilantro--- way yummy!!
We decided to go on a little hike down by Utah Lake on Sat.
This is Blake's 'superhero' pose!
Dad scoping out this tire swing, we need one like this!
The trail was closed, and it was way to cold anyway for a hike!!
Tami & Ryne wanted a grow box, so we brought wood and compost from home to build one for them.
They also wanted it on wheels to be able to move it- great idea!
Tami's been starting some little veggies to transplant when they get big enough and it warms up!
We hauled 4 huge trash bags of Dad's really good compost!
After eating at 'Black Sheep' where Tami works, we went to a place next door where they were painting faces.
Blake chose to be a rabbit and Colter was Batman!
Easter Sunday- new ties and tie tacks!
Such handsome boys!
And Blake got a new "Liahona" tie tack.
The Ryne Peters family!
Colter had his own little 'goose egg' for Easter. He bonked his forehead on the kitchen table leg that morning!
After church we all went over to Aunt Nan's for Easter dinner and a big Easter egg hunt for the kids in her beautiful backyard!
Morgan & Marci, Aunt Nan with 2 of Greg's kids- Tristen and Dakota. Dustin & Dawn's family was there too.
These little 3rd. cousins are the same age!!
What a FUN Easter Day we all had together!
Little Colter has a little bit of asthma in the Spring and has to have a couple of breathing treatments each day. He's a pretty good sport about sitting still for about 20 minutes!
LaVerl was thrilled to go to the BYU scrimmage game and check out the new Fall team. Also we drove up to Salt Lake to check out the Harvest Right factory. We ended up buying a freeze-dryer in Snowflake the day before we left. (long story)
That was our couple of days in Provo! We sure had a great time!
