Wembley Crosby's Blessing!

We made a fast trip to El Paso, TX for the baby blessing of our #13 Grand child, Wembley. She was given a beautiful blessing today by her Dad, Mark. We got there yesterday in time for the BYU/Gonzaga basketball game, (which they lost!). We also brought three big tubs full of Marks missionary stuff and his other 'jewels' from home that he wanted to go through.

 Dad's sleeping I think. The clock in our hotel room was 2 hours off and we didn't know it and I got up at 5:37am and Dad at 6:02am before we realized it!!

 Wembley was fussing before the blessing and I thought

she was going to wail all through it, but she quieted right

down and we didn't hear a peep from her!  Good baby girl!

I gave Kaemon a little haircut last night. He's our

oldest grandchild.

It was a quick trip, but we're so glad they are only 5 hours away, so we can just jump in the car and go!! Its an easy flat trip with only about 2 turns. The "Very Large Array" is about the only interesting thing along the way!!

We are so glad that Blake, Colter and Ryne have been here with us over the holidays. We would've been pretty lonely without them!

The holidays have flown by, another year almost gone. 

Last post about our trip to OHIO

So finally I'm getting around to posting about the last few things we did while in Ohio. Kirk & Kari only live about 45 minutes from Kirtland, so we all got ready to venture out in the COLD. We bundled up baby, put on warm coats and headed out. We were excited to go, we had heard they had over 500 Nativites on display for public viewing.

 When we got there, we were disappointed to find out

they are closed on Monday & Tuesdays!!  BUMMER!

 So Kari got on her 'handy-dandy' phone and found a fun 

place we could go see. A real farm and fun things for the

kids to do.

 A real cow that they showed us how to milk! (but we already knew how to do that!)

 These little piglets were only 2 days old! ( mommy was exhausted)

 They had huge, beautiful Belgium horses and lots of fun activities

for the kids to do.  It was a pretty fun place.

 One of the last projects Dad did was to sand and paint the crib. When Rivers was a baby, he chewed on it so all the teeth marks had to be sanded off, then painted again.

Then he painted this dresser and put the new hardware on. I did help a little too. I made some bread, put some freezer meals in the oven, washed a few dishes, did some laundry, tied a quilt and mostly, held my newest grand son in my arms.  Good times.

December 7th- Leo's baby blessing-- part 3

On Sunday, December 7, Leo Jesse Kinsey was given a name and a blessing by his father, Kirk. We were so glad we were still in Ohio so Dad could join in the priesthood circle. He was only 8 days old and he was such a good boy, he didn't make a peep during the blessing.

December 7th was also #3 grandson- Kingston's 7 year old birthday! It was a good day.

Ohio trip-- part 2

We were gone 10 days to Ohio and loved spending that time with Kirk & Kari's little family. We loved getting to know our little grandsons better, they sure are adorable.

to cover both sliding glass doors.

 One night we ventured out to go see some Christmas

festivities and decorations.

 It was SO COLD!! I think its because they live so close to Lake

Erie and its a wet cold.

 Kari had Leo wrapped in the 'moby' and inside her coat, so he 

was toasty warm.

Kari had a fun activity for the boys to do everyday. One day she did reindeer sandwiches and reindeer snacks while they watched a Christmas movie.

Such lucky little boys.

 Rivers is such a little character. He loved crawling

in bed with us every morning.

Yep, we sure had a great time. It was fun seeing this

little family in action, how they spend their days and
