Trip to Utah July 25-29th

Last week we headed up to Utah to see Tami & Ryne's family. We left on Wednesday and stopped in Las Vegas to see Dave and spend some time with him. It was HOT there!! We didn't stay long and spent the night in Mesquite, NV so we'd be a little closer the next day.
Thursday morning we enjoyed a good breakfast at Denny's.
We love to stop at that little cheese factory in Beaver, UT and get cheese curd and ice cream! We got to Provo around 2pm and then watched the kids so Tami could go to work. Ryne and his buddy Chantz Davis were hiking in the High Uintas so we came to help with the kids.

We took the boys bowling and had lots of fun!

Obviously, none of us are very good bowlers!

Then we went to Wendy's to eat lunch. They had a special going on-- if you said, "Winner, Winner, chicken tender" to the cashier, you got a free 3 piece tender box!  Pretty sweet!
Friday we went swimming in the nice pool at their place.
Blake is a really good swimmer!

I think she was thinking, "My diaper weighs more than me! I'm just going to lay here!"

We went on this really cool trail down by the Provo River!

The boys love this climbing tree!
 Adlee and Colter

Sunday morning we had to head home! We got to bring the two boys back with us! Adlee sure wanted to come too!

It was a quick but fun trip. Aunt Nan had us over for dinner one night and we also got to see Kristen and her daughter Abigail who were in town. I wish Provo wasn't quite so FAR!!

Rivers Gets Baptized!!! TODAY!

OUR # 6 grandchild got baptized today! It was a wonderful day with lots of family from both sides there to support him!

The Kirk & Kari Kinsey family!

 Rivers Mikkel Kinsey
He was baptized by his Dad, Kirk.
Proud Grandparents!
The other proud Grandparents
Bob & JoLynn Kinsey. She gave a really great talk on baptism.
I gave the talk on the Holy Ghost. I tried to make it fun by using lots of objects to describe all the ways the Holy Ghost can help!

Afterwards, Kari put on a great luncheon for everyone!
Bret came and of course was taking his kids home with him. Kingston had spent the 2 weeks with Kari and her boys!
We picked Chad up in Snowflake. Luann had a bunch of family in town for the 24th of July celebrations.
Lisa and Barry came too. It was also Barry's birthday!!

They went to see Megan, Lucy's birth mom, and brought her
to the baptism to spend time with Lucy and all of us.

Lots of babies and baby stuff!!

Dempsey was after Rivers trying to get a kiss!
She must have heard of"Kiss'in Cousins" !

Our family that was able to come!
What a wonderful reason for us all to get together!
What a wonderful day!!

JULY 21st is also my MOM'S BIRTHDAY!
SHE TURNED 93 TODAY!!
This adorable baby girl is my Mom, Lillian Anita Eberhard/Maurer

 Mom dating Don Dawes
Their Wedding picture!

Raising their family- Sonja, Sherry, Shelley & Curt

 Their 50th wedding anniversary!

My Mom is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside!
She has taught me everything- how to walk, talk, how to cook, clean, sew, can fruit and veggies, and work hard! She is the sweetest, kindest, best person I know! I LOVE HER and I'm so glad she's my MOM!

Our Grandkids are sure CUTE!

So after the 4th of July activities and most everyone left, Lisa and her kiddos stayed another couple of days. Bret's kids were also
here for a couple of weeks.

Lisa decided that Landon needed a little haircut, his hair was really long in the back, so I him a little trim. His is only 4 months old! My boys didn't need a haircut until they were at least 2 years old!!

Bath time in the kitchen sink!

He sure looked cute!  Aunt J'net came over and hugged on him for awhile!

Feeding Lucy some bananas!

We got a kick out of this picture! "No boys allowed!"
Landon--"I'm feeling quite left out!"

Having 3 little girls in the house can be quite entertaining!
I got up in the attic and found some dress up clothes they could wear. They put on a little fashion show for me.
They had fun all day!

The cherry tree still had some cherries, so we picked some more!
We are training the next generation to be good little cherry pitters!
London was really fast! She wanted to go pick some more!
 Dempsey!
 Ivory
They loved going to the park to play! I also took them to the outdoor pool in St. Johns, but didn't get any pictures.
Aunt J'net has goats by her house!

I took them to Show Low to see Hotel Transylvanian 3! They ate 2 huge bags of popcorn, I was impressed!
It was fun having them stay! I sure have CUTE grandkids!!
