My life

Well Hello everybody. I am just giving another update on my life. Things have changed a little bit. I am now in Springfield Missouri. I am waiting here until the gathering of the Saints... or until the end of the summer, whichever comes first.
So here I am in my studly Dish/Direct TV outfit. I felt better about selling Dish than doing the security thing.

This is how I spend a lot of my time now that I am far away from Natali. Mom added her to our friends and family list so that I can talk to her for as long as I want :).

As far as work goes, as I said I'm liking it a lot better here. On Friday I sold 4 satellites in one day!! That's as many as I got during my best week of selling security. I tend to get in more houses out here in Missouri. Even if people don't necessarily want satellite they still often invite me in for a drink or something. The economy is also better out here in Missouri so I haven't run into any problems with people not qualifying. My boss, Tosh Makintosh (yes that's his real name), is a really great guy and I get personal phone calls from the owner of the company checking on me. I feel really welcomed.

Project # 1

There was an old picnic table in the backyard of the house we are staying  so we decided it would be fun to fix it up. Ryne did most of the work by sanding it all down and I helped paint on the stain. It was fun! And its nice to eat outside in the sunshine!

My little movie star

So Kirk entered a celebrity look-alike contest at a local radio station and was one of the winners! Check it out at this website

I personally think he is way hotter than Elijah Wood, but there is plenty of resemblance.

Our New Backyard Pool!

The kids love their 2-section pool with slide (from Costco...of course). But it's been cloudy the last couple days. We're looking forward to some sun this week. Holly's due date is in 9 days!

Lisa & Barry's Wedding Reception!

Wow! That describes the beautiful place, Trilogy at Power Ranch where the reception was! It was a ballroom with mirrors on both sides, lots of room for tables, a dance floor and more! Barry had a connection with some friends that live there or it would've been way out of our league! The wedding cake was not only beautiful, it was delicious! Inside was a five layer German chocolate delight!! Way yummy!
These two didn't mind smashing cake in each others faces!!!

The tables were gorgeous with beautiful yellow and green flowers and candles and pictures!

I can't brag enough about the food we had catered. My best friends sister has a catering business in Mesa and they did a super job (and a great price!) We had a fresh pasta bar, salad, homemade bread sticks and it was sooo good!

This was part of the gift table and we had a picture table and sign in table that I didn't get pictures of for some reason!!

I took a little video of Lisa 'twirling' in her wedding dress!

More pictures.................

We got some really good pictures of our whole family!!

All of Lisa's siblings!

Mom and Daughter!

All the boys!!

the Wedding Luncheon

The Keime family put on a really nice luncheon for all of us after the wedding! All in honor of the 'bride & groom!' It seems all we did is eat! We got in some more visiting too.
Lisa and her bridesmaids!

Now we celebrate Lisa's wedding on June 6th along with Kari's birthday and Pomp's birthday!

Here's some of Barry's sisters responsible for putting on this really nice luncheon

I can't remember everyone's names of his family, but that's his grandma Keime!

June 6, 2009 Lisa & Barry get married!!

It was a happy day for the Crosby family!! It was an almost perfect day, the weather was not to hot, unexpected family and friends showed up, everything was well planned and organized so no major problems to tackle, & we got some great family pictures! The wedding ceremony was wonderful and the sealer gave them some great advice and council before marrying them "for time and all eternity". I'm sure Lisa will post some really good pictures, these are just some I took that aren't that great! Lisa was a beautiful bride and Barry a handsome groom!
The Bridemaids all looked so cute! Sisters- Kari, Tami, & friends- Monika & Ann

Reed flew in from Michigan for the wedding! He's back there selling Security Systems for the summer! Doesn't Kingston look cute in the bright green vest I made him?

Mark and Holly showed up for the sealing and surprized us all! Holly is only a few weeks away from having her baby and Mark wasn't supposed to have any more time off, but somehow it worked out that they could come. Lisa adores her oldest brother, so it was a very happy surprise to see them walk in!! (ps.....that is not a mohawk haircut, just a palm tree!)

This is the Keime family, all of them I think!! Barry has 5 sisters (a set of twins) and 3 brothers, he is the youngest! They have been waiting for this big day!

The Rehearsal Dinner June 5th 2009

The almost married couple, Barry & Lisa!!

This is Barry's mom, Evett, son Rustin and
wife Denae,

Kirk bought this whole outfit for Kari for her birthday and I think he is amazing!! What good taste he has, I admire his shopping skills!
Bret & Becki looked good together too!

The Rehearsal Dinner was really great. We got to meet almost all of Barry's family and found out they are all very nice!! We had lots of good food, I made BBQ meat and my mom made a great potato salad. We had watermelon and pasta salad along with an awesome ice cream bar with lots of toppings. Bret was the emcee and introduced everyone, we had lots of entertainment, Boyd (a cousin) sang, then Kirk and then a friend of Lisa's, Lauren and all were so good! We got to view their wedding video, which was so fun to watch!Barry's brother Trent gave a nice toast and then Lisa's dad gave some good marriage advice. We all visited and had a wonderful time together!

Update

Well as most of you know Natali came out to Michigan about a week ago to visit me and it was great. We had a good time just hanging out. When I went to Az for Lisa and Barry's wedding I got a bunch of questions about us and what was going to happen so I thought I would just give you all a little update on our situation so that maybe it will be a little easier to understand.
First of all Natali and I have been dating about 7 months now. We have had some great times going to St George and Eagar and just recently to California together. I have grown really close to her and love her a lot. But the sitiuation gets a little complicated because she dated a guy for about 4 or 5 years before he went on his mission and he gets back at the end of June. I knew about him from the start so I knew what I was getting myself into. We have talked it over many times and I am the one that is pushing her to see what is going to happen with her misisonary. I don't ever want her to have any "What Ifs."
To help everyone understand a little bit better, the day I got back from my misison Katie told me she was getting married. Nowthe ironic thing is that when I tell people this story the usual reaction is bad feelings toward Katie. But now Natali is in the same position and I am pushing her to be here like she said she would be when her "missionary" comes home. The funny thing is that now the bad feelings are towards Natali for "waiting" to make a decision. What is a girl supposed to do in this situation? I feel like this is the right thing to do and that Natali at least owes it to him to keep her word and I support her. I hope that everyone can understand a little bit better the situation and just know that what is best for everyone will happen. I have learned a lot from Natali and our relationship and am very greatful for the last 7 months with her. She is my best friend and I wish her all the happiness in the world. Hopefully someday everyone will get to meet her personally and love her for the fun, amazing, smart, beautiful person that she is.
