Two Years and 1 Day Later.... Bret was born!

Being a December baby myself, I didn't want to have any babies born in December, but Bret came almost exactly 2 years apart from Chad. We now had 'My 3 Sons'. (That was the name of an old television show) We were so thrilled, another little boy!

Bret has always been a tease, adventurous, fun loving, mischievious, athletic, talented, a great brother, a wonderful son, thoughtful, generous, good husband, an amazing Dad, an all around good boy! We sure love him a lot!

Today our Chad was born!

 Today was a pretty special day 44 years ago. Chad LaVerl Crosby was born! He was blue-eyed and blonde, completely different from his brother Mark. We were so happy to have another little boy!!

At 22 months old tragedy struck and Chad was hit by a car while playing outside with all the neighbor kids in Mountain Meadows Mobile Home park where we were living. He was flown out to Barrows Hospital in Phoenix. He was in a coma for 3 weeks and slowly started coming back to us. Our prayers and many others were heard and we were able to bring him home. We all felt like we had an angel in our home, we were all so blessed to have him in our lives.

CHRISTMAS 2023

 Christmas was extra fun this year because Lisa's family was home to spend it with us. On Christmas Eve, the Christmas elf rang the doorbell and left a big bag with Christmas pajamas and slippers for the kids. We ate Mexican food for dinner. Later, we dressed the kids up for the 'Nativity' while Barry read the Christmas story from Luke. Then we danced the Christmas Polka to Jim Reaves and then Lisa had some fun 'minute to win it' games for the kids. Before the kids went to bed we sat out cookies and milk for Santa.

CHRISTMAS MORNING

After opening all their gifts and playing with all of them, they got all bundled up in snow clothes and headed to the old ski run to do some sledding. 

Chad and Luann came over from Snowflake to have Christmas dinner with us and then play games. 

That was the end of a perfect Christmas Day!
