A few of our kids and families got to come home for THANKSGIVING!!
It was fun having Bret & Suzy and kids Lisa & Barry and kids and Kari & Kirk and kids. Chad & Luann came over on Friday to play some games and see everyone!
Kari made a darling veggie tray!
Lisa & Kari took some of the kids on a 'Turkey Trot'!
'Honey'- the grand dog!
I did LOTS of cooking!
We had a plentiful and wonderful Thanksgiving! Lots of food, great company, so much to be thankful for. Our missionaries came to enjoy their 2nd Thanksgiving dinner and we got to talk to our missionary-Elder Kaemon Crosby for awhile on FaceTime!

The end of a beautiful day!
Friday, Lisa and I wanted to go get a couple of Christmas trees! I had already bought 2 tree permits. But others wanted to go shooting guns. It was COLD and WINDY, but they went. LaVerl wanted to go fishing, so he took a few others to go fishing, but it was too COLD and WINDY. They did bring home a sad little 'Charlie Brown Tree'.So Friday, I took down all my Thanksgiving decorations and with the help of some of the grandkids, put up all my Christmas decorations, while the others were shooting and fishing, (in the cold and wind)! Bret and Suzy's family had to leave Friday evening.
First thing Saturday morning I had LaVerl and Barry put up my new Christmas tree!!
Then I had to make Christmas tree waffles!
Everyone had to leave Saturday afternoon. By then all the snow was melted off. Lisa never did get her tree. Kirk and Kari spent lots of time working on the rental house they bought that needed lots of work. I would say that we all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with each other!
