After rushing like crazy, unloading trailers, ice chests, chairs, etc. then showering- (there was probably 30+ people in my house), getting all dressed up in our red, white and blue-- we made it to the parade! (barely)
Chad & Luann left a little early to save us all a spot by
putting out some chairs.
LaVerl was so late coming down from Milligan, that he didn't even
come to the parade!! What!?

Mark and kids in Barry's new toy! Coming home from the parade!
After the parade we went home and relaxed!!
That afternoon we had a family meeting of sorts and planned our next reunion, with just the siblings, no little kiddos! Our kids were nice enough to invite us old people!!
Later that evening, Mark had brought some fireworks and I had some sparklers that the kids had a ball with!
After we did our own fireworks, the kids loaded up at dark to go watch the big fireworks the town puts on. They are pretty great for a small town!
That pretty much ended our family gathering. Most everyone went home on Tuesday, except Kari and boys and they stayed awhile longer. What a great time we all had together!
FAMILIES ARE FOREVER!!
