So...as a surprise to many (purposely done, so if you didn't know Holly was pregnant, don't feel left out, cause not many people knew) we had child #4 on Tuesday (so no, he won't be getting monthly personalized photo shoots and posts aka Rivers or Blake). Yes, she was pregnant when we visited Arizona for Thanksgiving. It sounds like the baggy clothes and the slightly bigger-than-usual belly, made some females (no males, Bret and Reed were clueless) a little suspicious. It was fun keeping it mostly a surprise; I'm glad mom was okay with it. I think she kind of knew. She asked me the other day on the phone, "Is there anything I should know about?" That was a weird question to ask, and yes, I lied to my mother and said NO. Holly had an OB appt at 11:15, he thought it wise to admit her and not risk not being able to make it to the hospital in time to deliver in case her water broke. At noon he broke her water and 2 hours later we had a perfect baby boy. One active push and he fell out. Holly is a machine. She had no pitocin and no epidural. His name is Bolden. Where did that come from? From my head. It has no significance other than we both like it, it's not on the Social Security top 1000 list for any year (a requirement for all our kids) and Holly likes that it fits "a pattern" of our boys having 6 letters and ending in N (Kaemon and Zallen), (I'm so glad that happened to work out). His middle name is Leo. Kaemon's middle name is from Gpa Crosby, Zallen's is from Pompa and Bolden's is from Holly's Grandpa Huish, Leo Rae Huish, who sealed us 7 years ago in the AZ temple. Milea was a little sad it wasn't a girl. But I'm sure as she partakes of the massive spoilage throughout her life due to being Daddy's (and Papop and Grammy's) only princess, she'll get over it. Everyone is healthy and happy. I'm a little sad my countdown to freedom clock just got reset (again) from 16 back to 18 years, but that's okay.

Ready, Set, Go!!

Today Chad participated in the Regional Special Olympics Track Meet held in the Round Valley Dome. His friends encouraged him to go, telling him how much fun he would have. His back has been hurting him, and he is wearing his back support brace under his shirt.

Phillip is Chad's little buddy He will call and have Chad come over to help him clean, and then he will come help Chad clean. They are also "partners in crime", you'll have to ask Chad about it.
Chad's first event was the 100 yard dash. The boy from Concho that got first was pretty fast! There were about 5 runners and lots of people cheering them on!
I videoed Chad running the race, but I don't think its working on this post. I could tell by the way Chad ran that his back was hurting him. His first silver medal!

About noon, everyone went upstairs in the dome and they fed all the kids and people that came to support them a great lunch. Hamburgers, chips, cookies and water! The softball throw was Chad's last event and he did great!!

It was a pretty fun day, these kids are special and its wonderful that programs like this exist for them. Everyone gets a medal and they feel really good about their accomplishments!

Chad will now got to the STATE SPECIAL OLYMPICS in Mesa the last weekend in April 28-30! We have already made plans to be in New Orleans, but for you kids in Mesa, it would be great if you could support him! They have so much fun, they get to stay in a motel with their friends, swim in the pool, then they put on a great dance for all of them to go to! A fun time for Chad!!
