Welcome to the exciting life of Kari Crosby!!

Well I haven't posted for awhile so I thought that I'd give a little update on my life as of now! School is over in less than a month, which means that less than a month until I go to New York City!! I can hardly wait and I'm sure you guys will be hearing plenty about my excitement up until then! I am going april 29-May 4. I will miss two class periods of my spring classes, but they are school excused since this is going to be a very educational field trip! Yay! I am taking 4 credits this spring (2 classes). I don't really need to, but since I only have 6 or so classes left until I graduate (which is so weird to think about! I'm getting old!), I figured I would take some now and make my last semester this fall more enjoyable. Everything else is going good- this weekend Lance and I went to SLC and watched an AFL (arena football) game in the Delta Center- it was pretty sweet. Lance loves football so he enjoyed it a little more than I did. There were a lot of drunks there. Also his nephew got blessed today so we spent all day today at his sister's house in Heber City with his family. Things are going good between us...we'll see what happens! I also got a new phone from Becki which has been a big high of my week. She is so nice for giving it to me. It's a tad bit of an upgrade from my little antique lg3100, that's for sure! I'm lovin it! well, that's my life in a nutshell! love and miss you all!

I hope they call me on a mission!

Hello family. I haven't posted anything in a while but here is some pretty big news. I put my mission papers in and will soon be Elder Crosby IV. My Stake President will send the papers to Salt Lake tomorrow morning and I should receive my call on April 6th. Thats when others have been getting their calls so hopefully I won't have to wait more than that. I want everyone to guess where I'm gonna be laboring for the next two years of my life so put a guess down because I want to see where you all think I'm gonna go. Oh ya I almost forgot to comment on how studly I look with my sweet parted hair and the suit jacket and all. I can't wait!

It's not easy being a little boy!

Snow is SENSATIONAL!

Wow this has just been a winter wonderland weekend! It had been snowing on and off all day sat. but it was so windy that it didnt stick much until 3ish, when i went to work. From 4 on it just snowed and snowed so by the time I got off work there was about a foot of snow covering the ground and my car! I really dont ever remeber it snowing this much here inmy whole life! So I slowly drove home and when I got home I bundled up and went out side and played in the snow! I had to play alone because Jayde, Martha and Ashlee were all out of town, but I still had a grand time- building snowmen and snow angels. I even got out my bike and tryed to ride it, but it was pretty difficult! I just thought I would let you know about this wonderful snow which was really an answer to a lot of prayers! I love you all!

DANCING QUEEN

So......last weekend Camilla and I took dates to go watch Tami and her dance team comepete at STATE!! Yes, our dates were thrilled to go watch cheer and dance with a million other girls! what good sports. HAHHAA it was fun!
We sat kina far away so I couldn't get the best pictures, but here's tami's dance team "Genuine Dance" performing in front of lots of people and judges. They really did so wonderful! Tammers has got some moves! Whoa! I believe they took 4th out of ten or so teams (tam correct me if i'm wrong) and they were up against some tough competition!
So Congratulations TAMI!!

Hooray for Basketball and New Institute Buildings!

Umm.... The Suns pics and text were supposed to be first but it didn't turn out that way so please read from the bottom to the top!

After the groundbreaking (see below) they hooked it up with sweet free tix to the ASU vs. Oregon b-ball game. ASU lost, Kinda sad, but it was the only game I went to this season (they weren't that good ) Lisa and some friends came with us and we had a jolly time with Sparky. Go Devils!!

So a couple of weeks ago we mozied on over to ASU for the groundbreaking of the new state-of-the-art two story sweet Institute building with its own parking stucture that is being built. I almost shed a tear as I watched the old 'tute get torn down. (sniffle, I loved that place.) But the new one will be up by Fall of 2008, hopefully. I told them to hurry it up a bit though so that I could still use it. They said they would do what they could for me. Elder Kerr of the Seventy came and ya, I got to shake his hand. Presidente Crow who is Prez of ASU was also there, he has done a lot to promote ASU to LDS students.

So I'm finally putting pics up here of some of Becki and I's recent outings. Becki bought me Suns tickets as I mentioned in my last post for my belated birthday present. I've wanted to go so bad. I was so excited that I went to the mall and bought us matching Steve Nash jerseys to wear to the game. Ya, Suns won of course. It was Becki's first time going and probably not her last cuz she really liked it.

well, I don't go on cool dates like Tammers and I'm not getting ready for a mission like Reedster nor do I excelerate in cake decorating as Kar bare,and I didn't have a 1st birthday like Kaemonizer but I DO................. have a cool car! Yea for the rocketier! She's out of the "hospital" and seems to be all recooped. Poor thing! she was in bad shape- she was turning brown(filthy), having pain the the belts- superior, inferior, and every which way! Her git-up was go'n go'n GONE! They had to perform a transmissionectomy on her. OUCH! so I'm real glad to have my car back. It was sure a close one. I thought I might loose'er. Rocket Girl can't go far with out her Rockettier! how ever you spell it??

Ok so this last Sunday I got off the elevator on my floor and there was this huge sign with my name on it with a bunch of random letters. Turns out the code was in my Mailbox and it said "I like cake! Do U? Look on the back." Turns out that I got asked to Preference this Friday by Kaylee Lemon (far left on group picture). So today I baked two round cakes and wrote on the top "There's no way" and on the late I put "I'd say no." So ya, I think my cake decorating skills are pretty close to Kari's. I mean with the stars and stuff. Well She said it tasted good so that's all that matters.
Yesturday I hung out with Weslyn for the last time in 2 1/2 years. Hank and Debbie treated us all to some pizza and I brought Kaylee. It was great fun just talkin with Wes talkin bout the good old days. Its crazy that he's already in the MTC. So I'm workin on my papers and will put them in hopefully on the 19th of March so thats pretty exciting. Anyways, I 've just been busy as heck with school and work and everything that I haven't had any time to check this lately. I'll try to post pics more frequently.
