Black River Fishing Trip & Temple Sealing!!

We've had a busy week!  Reed & Ryne got everyone together for their annual Black River Trip and they left on Thursday. (I only have a few pictures.) Barry, and T.J. all went too. They caught lots of fish, camped, and enjoyed being together!

While they were at Black River, I headed to Safford to get together with all LaVerl's siblings for Rick & Paula's temple sealing. We all stayed in a nice hotel, ate lots of good food and played games!

 Saturday morning we went to the church to decorate

for the luncheon after the sealing.

It was a wonderful weekend. LaVerl loved going on the fishing trip and then still being able to come to Safford with Mark. It was so fun being there with the whole family and meeting all of Paula's. We feel so lucky to have her in our family now and forever!!

A week in Cleveland....

.....with 2 of my very special grandsons, Rivers & Elijah. Kari won a trip to Cancun, through her Beachbody business, so her and Kirk and this little guy, Leo, left for 5 days. 

 They liked their new super hero capes-  Batman & Captain America!!

 One night after baths, they played & played "crocodile and lion". They are very entertaining!

They loved the waffles with all the 'good stuff' Gma put on them!

 We went to Rivers first soccer practice and his first game.

That was quite the adventure!

We went to the mall one rainy day and played at the inside
playground area. 

 They had a gum ball machine, it reminded them
of Gpa's, they had to have one!

Kari had a lot of fruit, so I made them a fruit pizza, they 

loved it!! With the left over cookie dough, we took cookies 

to Rivers soccer game!

All the time I was there I didn't take that many pictures of everything we did, but we all had a good time. I got to know my 2 little grandsons and their sweet personalities.

Catching up on LAST MONTH!!

After Uncle Denny's funeral on March 26th, I got to stay a week with Nan and also spend some time with Tami and the boys. It was a week full of fun times and lots of adventures. I was so glad to be with Aunt Nan, she is one very special lady!

 Nan wanted to learn how to ride the 'front runner train' up to the Salt Lake area, so one day we decided to do that. Tami and 

boys came with us to visit Temple Square and go to the City 

Creek mall. It was an adventure!

 We made it to Salt Lake, then waited for the Trax train to take us to Temple Square. It was a beautiful, but cold day.

 We walked around City Creek Mall and ate lunch there.

 Afterwards, we had to have a little ice cream!

 We had planned out everything perfect. We made it back to the train station in time to catch the train back to Provo for Tami to make it to work by 4:30. We were so proud of ourselves for showing Nan, how its done!! Then, somehow, we don't know what happened, but all of us unloaded the train, just following the crowd. We were looking around for the car and things were just not right! Something was wrong! We had gotten off at the Orem station instead of Provo! We saw a couple of buses and ran over to one and the driver said he could take us to Provo, no problem!  He didn't tell us it was going to take and hour to get there. Tami ended up being late for work!! The upside was, Spider Man was on the bus!

 I felt like I was on vacation staying with Nan. We stayed up late talking, we went to the movies and saw a 'chick flick', Cinderella, we ate at the restaurant where Tami works, we went to a gymnastics meet, went to the mall several times and just had lots of fun together. 

 I was happy to be in Provo on Tami's birthday --April 4th! We all went to lunch at Pizza Pie? I can't remember what the place was called. It was yummy and fun for all of us. 

 Instead of having to fly home, I caught a ride home with Todd. 

He had brought his kids up for Conference weekend, so that worked out really good for me. He and the twins were great friends growing up together.

Nan was always keeping busy, delivering treats, making Easter cookies with her grandkids, feeding me and everyone else. I was there so she wouldn't be alone and to help out, but it was really just a fun time being with her. She was and will always be an angel in my eyes.

When I was up in Utah, LaVerl was home in Eagar worrying about all his fruit trees that were blossoming out. He thought he might get a few apricots and the cherry tree was looking beautiful with all its white flowers, but it only took one freezing night and now its all brown! Maybe we'll get apples??
