TAMI'S WEDDING RECEPTION!! May 23, 2009

Tami and Ryne spent a week on an Alaskan Cruise for their honeymoon then came home for a week so we could get ready for the big wedding reception in Eagar!! It had rained all week and the weather looked bad that day with thunder and lightening all around. We were blessed and prayers were answered as it "Didn't rain on our parade!" It was a little cool as the sun went down, but it was still nice. As soon as we got all the decorations down, it started raining!

Tami looked beautiful in her dress and Ryne couldn't take his off her!

The adorable couple!!

The cute couple cutting their cake! No smashing cake in each others faces for them!! They were very polite!

We set up about 12 tables and 100 chairs, but with the weather, no one really sat outside for very long. Quite a few were in the house while eating their ice cream! Tami had real flowers in the little pots that I could plant later, wasn't that thoughtful of her?
She wanted a pasta bar, so we made chicken alfredo sauce with 7 cheese tortellinis and penne pasta with marinara sauce. We had a great green salad and garlic bread and of course, an ice cream bar with lots of fun things for the toppings and homemade hot fudge and carmel sauce.
It was a great time, thanks to all who helped and came!!

My life feels like a whorl wind

Whorl wind, freight train, what ever you call it, its coming fast and furious. That is, my life and all the things happening in it. I just jump trains is all.

I have had so much going on that I haven't been able to stop and smell the roses along the way. It just been coming at me.

I am the bug and life is the semitruck on the freeway. I've learned the hard way the semi truck WINS
I JUST NEED MORE TIME!! Planning a wedding in 3 weeks is a funny JOKE that life is playing on me. I haven't been able to sleep (yup check the time) because of all the anxiety of
$$$, flowers, cake, colors, bridesmaids, groomsmen, food, tables, rehearsal dinner, music, pictures, reservations, what to wear on the honeymoon, marriage license, i need a tan, i need to work out, I need a hair cut, my dress isn't done, I have no shoes, decorations, don't know if anyone is coming to my shower, haven't gone to the womanly doctor , I have endless pimples on my face and rarely shower...........haa haa just kidding kina

AHHHHH I am going to explode. Why can't I be more like the other party involved right now. Barry doesn't worry about a darn thing and hasn't lost a wink of sleep over this wedding. Why by default is all the planning up to the GIRL. eh? I SERIOUSLY wish we would have just eloped because this is ridiculous. The most important moments are in the temple anyways!!

FAM/Friends I need a little pick me up cuz I DON"T want to do this anymore. I need a little more faith not to worry.

I am stressed out.

I, Lisa ReNae Crosby, graduated from Dental Hygiene School!! Believe it or not

It has been a LONG road for me. I ate, drank, and breathed dental hygiene. I had no job, no money and no social life. NOT KIDDING> The MCC dental hygiene program was TOUGH and there were times I wanted to give up and just be done. There was lots of tears, frustrations and trials as I learned new skills and crammed TONS of information in my head for the numerous tests and quizzzes for example, I had to learn what a pleomorphic ademona is and explain the disorder of chondoectodermal dyspasia is and how it appears in the mouth along with every microscopic bacteria by NAME that causes periodontal disease, I had to write a research paper on GENTICS and how they are corelated to disease of the gums, along with knowing EVERY SINGLE bone, vien and nerve in the head and neck, and know every cateogoy and action of all the drugs, just to name a few things i did --hhaaa haaa wink!!! There is a LOT more to dental hygiene than most people, including myself, realize!! It is a lot of hard work! I had to meet patient requirements for school (meaning a certain # of levles of difficuly) and PASS- meaning higher than a 77% -3 National board exams a 350 question written 8 hour test, a clincal board with a very very difficul qualifying patient, and a juris prudence exam. I made it trough with help from my amazing fiance- Thanks Bear Bear!, my mom and dad and my Nanna & Pomp who let me live with them because I am so poor!! THANKS SO MUCH

You can now call me Lisa Crosby RDH!!!!

.... now all I have to do is FIND A JOB and pay back all the people who have forked out money so I could survive!

Vacation at the Lake

With everyone coming for Tami's wedding, we decided to get together at the lake for a little family fun. Most everyone came, Mark & Holly, Kirk & Kari, Lisa and Barry, Tami, & Reed. Chad had to be flown into PHX on Friday night because of work, Bret was finishing school and Becki was getting ready for a big craft show. They let us have Kingston, which was great. Barry has a nice boat and the water was perfect for wake boarding!
We had J'net and Bryan and Uncle Denny and Nan come on Friday and we have fun on the big plantoon boat.

Kirk and Kari had the longest drive from Utah and they beat us to the lake on Wed.

We had to get a picture of all of us there!

Tami & Ryne's Wedding Day May 9th, 2009

What a happy day we had on Sat. May 9th! Our baby girl got married! She was a beautiful bride! The day started out a little rough, we had some glitches and bumpy spots, but it was peaceful and wonderful once we were all inside the temple and watching this special couple get married! They make such a cute couple!!
The proud parents!

Here's all the groomsman and bridesmaids!

This picture was so funny of Kingston & Kaeman, they were not happy!
I made all the bow ties, cumberbands and dresses! That was fun!!

I didn't get a very good picture of Rynes family. His sister Taylor wasn't there, but TJ and little Dallin on the right. Ryne's dad, Shawn, mom-Jocelyn, sister Britney, and daughter and husband.

HAPPY DAY/ WEDDING DAY!

OPPS!! These pictures are exactly opposite of the order I wanted to post them!! Sorry!! Tami and her brothers! Holding their baby sister!!
Tami and her sisters! My 3 beautiful girls!

Tami & Ryne with her siblings! They all were there, that's quite a feat!

The whole gang on the steps of the Mesa AZ Temple!~ It was so hot!
If you look really close in the back right corner, you will see Nanna & Pompa staying in the shade, they were waiting for someone to call them to the pictures! They are the reason we are all there at the temple and they aren't even in the pictures!!

The beautiful bride and groom!

California trip!

The 22nd of April was our last day of finals so my brilliant girlfriend Natali had the idea to go to Disneyland and Six Flags as a reward for our long and strenuous year at school. Boy was it a great idea. We ebayed our way into half price tickets for both parks! We stayed at Natali's sister's future in-laws house for two days and then stayed with Mark and Holly for one. Holly and the kids treated us to an awesome day at the San Diego Zoo to finish up our trip.

In explanation of the slide show "California Ducks" video...Natali and I were walking around 6 flags when we saw a guy chasing some geese. The geese flew away and he yelled "I didn't know ducks could fly!" Haha...we had to film the Californian ducks for the funny memory. Unfortunately the camera wouldn't zoom out so you get a couple great up-close looks at my attractive mug :).

The other video is of me eating a turkey leg that Natali and I devoured while in line for Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland. Natali thinks I make a great caveman :).

P.S. Thanks to Mark and Holly for letting us crash at their house and hang out with them, it was a blast!
