It was just my girls that came home for the 4th and Kari had to leave on Sunday. Monday, Tami & Lisa decided to take the littlier kids up to Milligan for a picnic. Adlee had her Peters cousin with her.
They had fun trying to catch bugs!
Landon had fun picking up pine cones!

Then of course, the sour pie cherries are always ready around the 4th of July. Because I was sick, LaVerl and I didn't get them picked, so by the time I got out to the orchard with the grandkids, the birds had got to a lot of them. I do think that the tree just wasn't as loaded as it usually is. We only got 3 ice cream buckets! Which was OK!! I just didn't want to have to deal with a lot of cherries this year!!
Bret, Suzy and 4 kids were here too, so they helped pit a few. I only had them pit enough for 1 cherry cobbler and 1 freezer bag full that I can make a cherry pie out of later.
So about the 2nd day after Tami & Ryne moved here from St. George, they came and talk to us. They said, "We have a vision!" LaVerl says, "oh ya, what is it?" They proceeded to tell us that they wanted to clean out one of the sheds and make it into a work out room for Tami. You need to understand that part of what Tami loved about St. George was all the many things they had to do. She would go on 6 miles runs on the beautiful trails, she was taking a boxing class and a bunch of other activities. Ryne wanted a workout room for her and he made it happen. So we started cleaning out the shed, we put most of it in the dump trailer, but we let LaVerl decide!! Ryne built a wood foundation and we found, (in LaVerl's junk) some big pieces of plywood to cover the floor. Then they put down this nice padded mat that pieced together in squares. We also found a shelf she could use for all her weights, boxing gloves, etc. She hung her weighted hulu hoop on a couple of horse shoe hooks. It looks pretty good. The draw back is that this is an open shed, we'll see how clean and nice it stays!!

Landon loves anything that moves and has a KEY!!
