More of the boat shed....

Dad wanted to do a little more work on the boat shed, so we

headed to Roosevelt last week. He was mostly concerned with

getting some paint on this raw wood to protect it. 

It not only needed paint to help protect it, it was ugly!

It was a lot of work, all overhead, plus going up & down the ladder! It looks lots better, but what it really needs is stucco
to cover ALL of it so its all the same!

We had lots of colors of paint leftover at home, so we just mixed them all together and ended up with a pretty good color!

He also painted the wood braces a light color so they would blend in better. Then he ran a wire in the bottom of the shade and put anchor straps on them to hold the shade in place when the wind blows.  

It was a good work day at Roosevelt. I spent the day cleaning and changing all the bedding to get it ready for some friends that are using it over Easter break.
