So we still have lots of apples, so everyday I put 9 trays of apples into our food dehydrator. It takes me only about 35 minutes because I have this handy-dandy 'apple, peeler, corer' device that makes this so much faster and easier!!
Because I have tile counter tops this won't attach to them since its got a very small, like 1 inch opening. So I have to rig it up on my cutting board with my heavy wheat grinder to hold it down.
Ya, very 'mickey mouse', I know! But it works!
LaVerl got all the beets pulled out of the greenhouse, so I also just made 15 pints of pickled beets!
Its a good thing I love 'harvest time!'
