On Tuesday, Oct. 3, Mom had her aortic valve replaced in her heart! It's been giving her trouble for a few years and because she passed all the tests saying she was healthy enough to have it done, she did! We are all just super glad she got through the operation with flying colors!

While switching Mom to the operating bed, one of the main needles in her artery came out and they had to get another one in before they could operate. I think that is why she is so bruised!
Well, it's Fall and harvest time around our house. Lisa and kids came home for a few days of their Fall Break.

The pumpkin patch was kind of 'slim pickens' this year! Lots of small ones, a few really cool ones and lots of little ones.
They loved fishing at Big Lake and even caught some fish!
What do you do when you have lots of apples?? We make fresh pressed apple juice, we freeze dry them and dehydrate them!
Lisa and I also made a pumpkin/Fall craft!
