Cruise Day 4-- Fun Day at Sea!

TUESDAY   Nov. 14th
What do people do when they spend all day at sea?  Well we ate a lot, played on the water slides, had a family meeting, took naps, ate some more, and attended some fun things to do on board. Chad & Luann went to a Dr. Seuss party, Kirk & Kari went to a cooking demonstration, Bret & Becki loved the Karaoke, Holly caught up on her sleep,  and Mark went to the workout gym.

The shows at night were really good. Very talented singers and dancers. We also went to the 'Punchliner' where we watched some very funny comedians. Whatever interests you have,  can find it on board. There was Bingo, art, basketball, volleyball, spa's, laying out in the sun around one of the two pools, movies on the big screen outside, etc. etc. Its all FUN!!

Bret did this to his thumb somehow going down one of the slides!

 Nov. 14th was also Kirk & Kari's anniversary!! Kirk arranged some special things delivered to their room!

It was elegant cruise night, so we got to dress up a little!! Because it was their anniversary, they had their own table to themselves!

Our waiters were super great! They even brought a little cake to Luann because she has a Nov. birthday!

And we ended the evening with a beautiful sunset!!

Cruise Day 3- Nassau, Bahamas

MONDAY NOV. 13TH. 

We arrived in Nausau early and it was raining a little. It soon cleared up and we had a beautiful day to enjoy at Atlantis!!

We bought the Atlantis shore excursion from Carnival and it cost us $199 a person for a day at the Water Park. We figured it was a once in a lifetime experience, so it was worth it!

 Atlantis is just like the commercials on TV! It is a beautiful, amazing place! Paradise!

The Raging Rapids was really fun! We would ride big tubes along the river, then get out at another place to go down different slides. 

This arch between the two hotels is actually a room you can rent--well you can if you have $30,000 a night to spend!

After lunch we all took a tour of the largest salt water aquarium in the world! Wow was it amazing. We walked underground in these big tunnels that surrounded the tanks.

 This was a slide called 'the Challenger'. It had timers at the bottom of each slide so you could tell how fast you went down. I think Bret had the fastest time! 

 The slide on the other side was called "Leap of Faith". You got in the tube at the top, but couldn't see down! Once you laid down and pushed off, you went flying down so steep and fast you couldn't hardly catch your breath!  The tube went through a shark tank at the bottom, if you opened your eyes, you could see them! But I didn't have time to even open my eyes!

While we were at Atlantis, Luann took a tour and enjoyed seeing much of what we did!

Holly was never without her diet drink!

 Then it was back to the boat!!

It was a super fun, adventurous day! A day to remember!
