Blake turns 4 years old!!

Blake's birthday was actually Aug 15th, but we didn't have his party until the 19th! Tami waited for me I think because I had a catering job that Friday and Saturday. On his actual birthday she made him special pancakes with sprinkles and had some balloons. I think he loved having lots of birthday fun over the several days of celebrating his birthday! As you can see, he is definitely a

SUPER HERO!

August 14th, 4-wheeling with friends

Last Thursday some of our friends at the temple wanted to come and go 4-wheeling in the mountains. Ross & Pam Carpenter and Jim & Marilyn Downing came and we all met at Glen & Rachel Finch's house. Glen wanted to take us up by Big Lake to follow the old railroad. It was a beautiful day for a ride in the mountains.

This one is called "Dancing Man" and has been

photographed more than any other picture for magazines

because its the only one like it!

We trailered about 20 miles to where we started.

Jim & Marilyn have a really nice quad! It even has hand warmers!

Ross & Pam had a nice little rack on the back to hold stuff.

We went through lots of puddles of water, due to all the rain!

Glen & Rachel. He took us all over that mountain and never got lost!

It was beautiful and green in most places.

Then we'd go through places where the fire was and it was brown and ugly with all the dead trees. So sad!

After a full day of riding, we all went to Avery's for some good BBQ! Its great to have friends to go have fun with!

July 24th weekend in Tucson!

We had another Crosby sibling family get-together the 24th of July weekend. We all met in Tucson and stayed at a pretty fancy place called Loews Ventana Canyon Resort. We worked out in the exercise room, sat in the Jacuzzi- hot & cold, walked the trails to the waterfall and butterfly sanctuary, explored the shops and slept in a huge, comfortable bed in a gorgeous room. All that and I didn't get one picture!

After dinner we went to the Gaslight Theatre for
some great entertainment. "Ghostblasters" was
playing -its a spoof on the movie, 'Ghostbusters'.

Playing games is always part of the family fun. Notice J'nets smile, she was winning!!

Saturday we toured this old mission called San Xavier del Bac. It was SO HOT and no air conditioning throughout the building which made touring it pretty miserable.

At this point, J'net & Bryan are not with us. He
got into the pool with his phone in his shorts, so
they were off to a Verizon store!

Mass is still held here on Sundays. The building
is still under restoration.

I felt like I was in Europe seeing some of the churches Reed & Natali saw! (well, not quite)

It was a fun 2 day trip. LaVerl was glad to get away, he's been working hard and steady for the past month. Getting with his brothers and sister is always a good time!

The 4th of July--#3 late post!!

So finally I will post about our fun 4th of July together! Not all our kids could come home for the 4th, but we still had fun.

Now this is one cute baby! Ivory is as happy and

sweet as she is adorable!!

Since candy is the main reason why the parade is so

much fun, I made each one their own candy can!

After the parade we all relaxed and played games. Later that night we all went to see the fireworks. While sitting in the back of

Barry's pickup, Bret & I both got stung by big black ants! One got me in the eye and got Bret on the arm. He had a reaction and his whole arm swelled up huge!!
