3 Days at DISNEYLAND with Bret's family!!!

    Bret invited us to go with him and his 4 kiddos to Disneyland!

We left Sunday March 17th after church and drove to Bret's. From there we left at about 3pm and headed to Los Angeles and because traffic was backed-up about 90 miles out of LA, we didn't get there until after 10pm. We got settled into our nice room at the Mariott, and got up early Monday for Day 1 at Disneyland!

Bret got us all a 3 day pass plus the fast pass for $240 each! Prices have definitely gone up since the last time we were there 25 years ago!!   
DAY 1 March 18th
Each morning we started out the day with a wonderful breakfast at the hotel!
Waiting for the bus to take us to DISNEYLAND!
 
As soon as we got into the park we headed for the Indiana Jones ride. However, we stopped in the Tiki Room and we were the only ones in there!  Definitely not a hot spot but still a must see in my book! Tradition!!

While we rode the Indiana Jones ride, Ivory and Gpa waited! We were lucky to be able to ride it, it was closed the next day!
 
 Then we rode the cute Jungle Cruise ride.

After using the Fast Pass for the Indiana Jones ride, we got one for the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad ride! Ivory got on this one, but she didn't like it much!! When we were exiting, a worker stopped us to ask if 2 of us would like to get on again, there were two empty seats! So London and Kingston got to ride it again without waiting!

 
 Then we rode the Disneyland Railroad around the park!

 

 They put on the cutest live shows at Storytelling at the Royal Theatre.  We saw Beauty and the Beast, it was so well done!

The tea cups are always a must for the kids! 
 
The show- Mickey and the Magical Map was great too!
The shows they put on are FANTASTIC!

So many talented young people working there. They all can dance and sing!

  The 3 girls LOVED meeting all the princesses!!

Kingston- not so much, but he waited patiently!

Ivory & I waited while everyone rode Splash Mountain! 

They all got really WET!!

  DAY 1 was so fun! We rode lots of rides, ate lots of good food, walked lots of miles dodging people, strollers and carts. We left a little early to get back to the motel so the kids could swim.
