Day 1- San Diego Fun!!

On Wednesday morning we crossed the border over into Algodones, Mexico. They have over 600 dentists there now they told us! We have one lady that we really like that did all of LaVerl's nice crowns. He's needed this implant done for over 2 years now, so it was time we went. They got that done fast, but he also needed another crown on a back tooth that's been bothering him, so we have to go back on Friday.

Then we drove to San Diego, another 3 hour drive. We checked into our motel, a Best Western called Seven Seas, which was super nice! Later that evening we went to the beautiful San Diego Temple!

When we got out it was dark, but it was neat seeing it all lit up too.

We missed all the traffic heading back by leaving later!

It was a great way to end the day!

MARCH 11th - LaVerl's BIRTHDAY!!

On March 11th, LaVerl turned 69! Woot, Woot!!

We were on our way down to Mexico to finally get his implant started so we stopped at Lisa's to spend the night! She surprised her Dad by putting up some balloons and decorations for him!

After she fed us breakfast we headed to Yuma, about a 3 hour drive.

6 + 9 = 69!!!

Before LaVerl & I were married he took me to visit the Yuma Territorial Prison. That was over 42 years ago. We decided to visit it again while we were there. It was fun going back again.

It was actually rainy and cold, which is better than scorching HOT!

The conditions there looked pretty miserable, but it was reported to have better amenities than some prisons. I don't know, 6 men to one chamber pot?

We ate some good Mexican food and later went to a movie.

Crosby Sibling FUN in Tucson, AZ

Over the weekend March 1st & 2nd, we were in Tucson, AZ with LaVerl's siblings. Dave & Mary came from Las Vegas. J'net & Bryan and Rick and Paula came together from Mesa, AZ. We came from Eagar, AZ.

We all met at the Tucson Temple at 10:30.

Afterwards we ate at BK Tacos & Hotdogs!

Rested up at the motel then dinner and the Gaslight Theatre!

We saw "The Belle of Tombstone" and it was a hoot!

All the music and sound effects come from the piano, the bass guitar and drums!

Saturday morning we just hung out at the motel and played games.

We had one last meal together, then all headed home!

We had a good family meeting, visited and enjoyed playing together! It was a good weekend!

LATE FEBRUARY!! Gone and almost forgotten!!

Yes, February is definitely a short month! It came and went so fast that I almost forgot to post about all the important events!

I went to watch Bret's kids, I thought for a week but it only turned out to be a few days. I got to spend time with Lisa's kiddos too.

When I got home....

It was Thursday, Valentine's Day. We went to the Stake Valentine's Dinner and had Prime Rib. Instead of flowers, LaVerl bought me some new plants for my inside planter!

Feb. 19th! London's birthday. She turned 10!!

(It was also Kirk's birthday!)

Feb. 20th # 6 birthday for Colter! He wanted the same cake and birthday party that Blake had! Look at that cake, I can't blame him!

I took my little cub scouts to the El Rio Theatre. They were supposed to visit an historical site and we have the oldest theatre in Arizona right here in Eagar. It was built in 1915!
