Trip to Idaho....Adlee's baptism

Adlee Belle Peters was baptized on October 11, 2025

 She actually turned 8 years old on August 7th, but she wanted to wait until her big brother Blake could baptize her, which meant she would have to wait until January 2026. Well, the weather in Idaho in January is very wintery and cold, so she decided to get baptized now. We were thankful that LaVerl was rested up enough from our last trip/cruise to be able to go. We were sad that we missed baby Rome Enzo Wyson Crosby's baby blessing on October 5th. Flying out of the little Mesa/Gateway airport and having a really short flight is why we were able to go. We got a nice Airbnb and rented a car to make things easier for Tami. She still did so much for us. She feed a big crowd lots of meals and Ryne smoked a lot wonderful meat. Our travel plans went smoothly, but Lisa and two girls weren't so lucky. We think because of all the flooding in our area in Arizona, her flight was canceled on Sunday night. They ended up taking a bus the next day to Salt Lake Airport, (a 3 hour trip) then catching a plane home from there. Total cost- over $2500! We felt so badly for them!!

Colter is not in this picture, he had to leave for a football game. 

Her cousins drove 14 hours to come!

I'm always asked to give the talk on the Holy Ghost because I give them a bunch of candy and misc. items with it, which makes it fun.

After the baptism, Tami fed us all yummy crepes with lots of toppings, sausage and bacon and egg casserole. 

Colter wasn't in any of the pictures because he had a football game. It was cold and windy, so me and Gpa didn't go.

It's so wonderful to get to spend time with our kids and grandkids and to be able to be there for their special occasions!

Final Stop- #8 Le Havre (for Paris/Normandy), France

 Day 12 - Sept 27, Saturday 

Well, this is the last stop of our long vacation/cruise! We didn't have time for the 2 hour drive to Paris from the port, but we got to see a little bit of France. We could definitely tell we are in a foreign country- everyone is speaking French, and there are no English signs anywhere. It's very beautiful here too, it was all fogged in this morning when we left for our tour- "Romantic Honfleur". We almost missed our coach because I got the time wrong. It was very confusing because the time changed up an hour, but my watch or my phone did not change. We would've enjoyed the tour more if our guide didn't talk so soft, so fast and with such a strong French accent. She gave us all these little EarPods to wear, but it didn't help much. We saw lots of houses with thatched roofs, wonderful outdoor markets and thousand year old churches. Awesome day!!

We got back to the ship around 1:00 and just went up to the wonderful buffet to eat. Now we are so full we will skip the fancy sit down dinner at 7:30pm and won't even go to the last show. We are tired. LaVerl especially is feeling 'not good'. I got our suitcases all packed and ready to place outside our door so they can take them wherever so we can get them tomorrow when we leave the boat. It's been a super amazing cruise, we saw so much and loved everything. It was maybe just a little too much for my sweet husband to handle. He wants to, he just gets too tired and hurts. He is really sad about his health right now! We just have to be glad and feel blessed that he has been able to do as much as he has been for this long!!

NEXT STOP- SOUTHHAMPTON, LONDON- Our flight leaves at 3:45pm and we arrive in Phoenix at 6:30pm on Sunday!!  Yay!!

Day at Sea....

 DAY 11 - Sept 26,  Friday

We really look forward to a restful day at sea. We can sleep in, eat when we want and do what we want. The time change an hour forward, but our phones and watches didn't change, so it was a bit confusing today to know what time it was. There was a 10am show- a 'Culinary Demonstration and Galley Tour' and I was the only one that made it because of the time mix up. It was fun and I got to see the kitchens where all the work takes place. LaVerl rested most of the day while me and Tammie played some cards. She and Cliff got 'the gunk' too, so they aren't feeling great. Later LaVerl got in the hot tubs with Dean and Wade. We all met up for dinner in the Symphony Dining at 7:30 and at 9:30 I went to the evening show, (by myself), to watch "Theatrical Show: Born to Dance" with lots of dancing and singing. It was wonderful! I only took a few pictures today....

I choose to eat 'Baked Alaska' for dessert.
